Stocking or basket filler!
I've got three little boys and these are fantastic for their little hands even if they are not the easiest things to actually use. Then again, I don't necessarily need all three of them being able to use these slingshots WELL, but that's another story. They're well made, interesting enough to not be "boring" for little kids, and make a beautiful (and rowdy) gift for kids 4+ or so.

Compact sligshots that fits in your pocket
Slingshots are fun. Learning to shoot accurately is a challenge but, before you know it, you'll be hitting your target pretty easily. Because shooting a slingshot well is easy to learn but difficult to master, I consider this to be a fun and rewarding hobby that almost anyone of any age can enjoy. Considering that these slingshots come in a 3-pack, this will be fun for the whole family.Personally, I use glass marbles as ammo in these sligshots. When shooting a hard target, these sligshots pack enough power to completely powder the glass marbles. For that reason (and others), you shouldn't point these slingshots at another person. These slingshots should be used with adult supervision. The frames of the sligshots are made from lacquered wood. They are lightweight but really stiff. I have no doubts that these slingshots are durable. The only maintenance issue that I saw is that you might want to check the plugs that hold the band in place. They shift around a bit when using the slingshot. Every 10 shots or so, I would check the position of those plugs if I were you. Not a big deal.

Strong slingshots - use your judgment if they're toys or not.
These are sturdy and classic form slingshots (or catapults if you're British influenced), and feel solid in your hand. They are cut from solid thick wood that won't break or be damaged by inevitable drops and falls. The elastics are surgical tubing and dependable for stretch. The pouch is made of real leather and is the correct size for the frame. Now, whether it is actually a hunting slingshot is up to debate in that how a slingshot works is up to the shooter. If you hold it correctly, draw back correctly, aim correctly, and release correctly and practice with appropriate ammunition it is a serviceable weapon for targets, plinking, and whatever your skill level allows. The drawback as an adult hunting sling is the size of the elastics which are too short for a full extended stretch to an anchor point on your cheek; the common suggested form. Now there is also, as in archery, such a thing as 'snap-shooting' with intuitive aiming and release almost simultaneously, and if you're a snap- shooter you'll have fun plinking away with these. Would I give them to kids and say, "Here you go, have at it"...? Probably not until There had been some instruction and ground rules laid down. They are real slingshots and whether you give one to your buddy or trick them out with assorted rubbers for your own use, you can't go wrong at this price. Just be careful and sensible or "...You'll shoot your eye out!"

Not a good one
I was excited to recieve these little slingshots today however as soon as I got them out of the bag to ask my husband about it and pulled the elastic, it snapped. My husband tried the otherone and it snapped too!!!! I didn't dare to try the third. It also either has a poor paint job or it came used. I bought this in good faith for my kids. I'm very disappointed. Back it goes.

Seem sturdy, strong elastic and wood
These are a lot of fun to play with. I am not accurate at all with a slingshot, but I've never had one to play with before, so I can't say whether it's me or the toy. The wood is sturdy and has been really well sanded and finished, so there are no issues with splinters or catches. The rubber is sturdy and seems like it's going to last a long time. These are just absolutely gorgeous and I love them.

Handle too short
The handle does not even reach the bottom of my small-adult sized palm. Without a solid grip it is too difficult to be accurate. Fine as a toy for youngsters, with close supervision, of course
