Great book with DVD for beginners
Very good book with helpful DVD. All steps required to learn the basics are set out clearly. Unlike many small, older tatting pamphlets and books this volume is approximately A4 size and the photographs are in colour - this makes the instructions far easier to follow. Some patterns for projects are included.

Tatting
Loving this book, and DVD, they are both very clear, I have been Tatting for a while, but took a break as I didn't know how to perfom "knotless" tatting, what to do with the ends, at the beginning and finish of work. This wonderful DVD has shown me how to complete my Tatting and it now looks seemless.Wish this book/DVD had been available (DVD Invented) when I started Tatting, I highly recomend this super product.Big LoveMugWhump

Reviving a lost art!
I am delighted with this book and the easy-to-follow instructions. The video included with the book is a real bonus. Some of our national handicrafts are in danger of disappearing and whilst I am not a fan of "save everything at all costs" I think that future generations might be interested in exploring old skills. My current target audience comprises young grand nephews & nieces so I need to make sure my skills are properly honed! Excellent service from Amazon as usual: packaging good; delivery on time as planned.

Covers everything you could wish to know
The dvd, which would only work on my computer not my dvd player, was excellent. It provided comprehensive and easy to understand instructions, taking you from complete beginner to expert level. The book complements the dvd, rather than the other way around. I couldn't make much sense of the book at first, but after watching the dvd, I have found it invaluable as a reminder. The only thing that would improve it would be further projects included.

Marked cover and papges
This was a new book but the front cover of book is marked and some of the pages have brown marks on them. It looks like the impression of the DVD, although it is in a poly pocket inside the book, has made the marks on various pages. The information in the book however looks good and useful for a beginner.

Learn to Tat [With Interactive DVD]
I had not done tatting for about 30 years so was very rusty. I have not watched the DVD yet, but the book itself with photos and instructions were quite clear. For absolute beginners I think it would be best to watch the DVD first as you have to see visually how to create the double stictch which is the basis of tatting.
