Well made, excellent fit, perfect focusing
Well made adapter. Excellent, seamless fit, both to the Telyt lens and the Nikon body. Perfect focusing all the way to infinity.Don't buy this for non-visoflex Leica lenses. They won't focus properly. This is only for Telyt lenses or for lens heads with adapters, like the Hektor 135 with special Visoflex short mount adapter.I use it with one of these heavy f5 400mm Telyt lenses on a Nikon 7100 body where it acts as a 600 mm lens.

Ideal money saver if you have good K mount lenses.
I bought a Nikon D3300 camera from Amazon without a lens kit. I bought this in order to use the multitude of Pentax K mount lenses I have from a non digital Pentax camera. With this lens adaptor I cannot use all of the auto options of the Nikon but in M manual mode it works a treat so long as I manually focus the lens. Not wishing to miss out on the functions offered by my Nikon I bought a Nikon DX lens and now only use this adaptor with a 300mm K mount mirror lens with exceptional results. This adaptor,as in my case, can save you a lot of money on lenses if you have some decent K mount ones to hand. My 300mm mirror lens equates to a 400mm zoom with the DSLR sensor of the Nikon. This lens adaptor will not give full auto control of the lens, it reports no lens fitted if the Nikon is set to A auto, nonetheless it does what it is meant to do.

Decent adapter
A decent adapter, though ideally it'd have the part to interface with the shutter release to keep it wide open. On my older ('57) lens it can creep closed otherwise.

Not a secure fit on the adaptall side
The adapter locks to the nikon F mount side correctly, but does not lock into the adaptall 2 mount securely, which I almost found out the hard way.

Leica M39 to Nikon F mount lens adapter
Item exactly as described. A simple device that works to specification, decent quality. Amazon Prime Next day delivery with good communications, as usual. Honest, 1st Class seller. Recommended.

Great value for money
Bought this for my Nikon d5100 slr after reading up about lens reversing for macro photography. Already own a tokina 100 mm macro so was happy enough. Fitted to my camera on manual mode easy enough, had several old lenses kicking about that wouldn’t fit my Nikon and found a carl zeiss 28mm that fit on it. When reversed it magnifies at about 4 power and gives superb macro shots. Even closer than the tokina which wasn’t cheap. Highly recommend this for an alternative to spending loads in a dedicated macro. Just make sure you have lenses that will be of use. I had several old lenses that wouldn’t fit the 55mm thread.

Great build quality, awful optical quality
The quality of the build is great, solid metal without any kind of gap between the mounts. Interesting my sample has none of the mechanical problems others complain about.I didn't try to unmount the lens to use it as a tube, as I find that completely useless (if I want to use my Pentax primes to take macros on Nikon I'd rather - and I do - reverse mount them with a reversal ring).Optical quality however is a nightmare. I've tried with a 50mm f/1.7 prime which has excellent sharpness also wide open. Stopped down to about f/5.6 seems good probably still usable with some caution at f/4.0. Used at f/2.8 or wider it's such a mix of all possible optical aberrations that makes a scratched mobile phone with a plastic bottle in front of the lens take better photos (no kidding). Sadly the only reason I see to use lenses of another mount is to reuse some fast lenses so not being able to achieve an even barely usable quality wide open is a deal-breaker (if I have to stop down to f5.6 I'd rather use the kit zoom).

outstanding
outstanding equipment at good price now I can use all my old lenses on my new camera with good results and great photos, all you need to do is set the Nikon camera to the manual setting in place of auto and its brilliant thanks for this
