Yofidra 50FT Expandable Garden Hose Pipe, Flexible Hosepipe with 10-Pattern Spray Nozzle, Durable 3450D 3-Layer Latex Core Expanding Magic Hose

I bought this because I couldn't get the 'Flexi Hose Plus' that I bought before and needed to extend the hose I already had. The two hoses are very similar, but the spray gun on this one is of an unusual design, with the spray not operated by a trigger but by a lever. I can see that this arrangement might be very useful fo anyone whose grip easily becomes tired when watering a lot of plants. The only little niggle is that I have a habit of hanging the spray gun by the trigger, which you can't do with this one. The brass fittings on both these hoses are of very good quality. My only negative experience with these expandable hoses is that they tend to develop a hole after a few months' use and, as the hose is expandable, such holes are almost impossible to repair with tape without constricting the flow of water. But for the price, both hoses are a good buy, and they don't get tangled up or kinked like the rigid ones.

First reaction. Wow it’s so much better and stronger than the previous ones I’ve had (4 of them) and non of them lasted long but were much cheaper. So I’m quite hopeful that this one will be well worth the extra cost. I ‘m on a water meter so hoping this won’t start leaking at the end like my last Hozelock one did. It ran like a waterfall filling the bucket under the tap very quickly. I’m feeling quite confident about this one . Fingers crossed.

I have used the hose, it was brilliant the way it expands and got the length of my garden with easy. It was easy to drain off and went back into the bag it came in .I cannot speak about durability as only just received it

Compared to the cheaper hose kit I sent back, this seems far superior. A much heavier hose with the same brass connections at each end, which take the handset and the adaptor for bib tap. I found that screwing the bib tap adaptor on first, then inserting the hose was much easier. The handset operation takes the pain out of having to grip a trigger all the time. You get some PTFE tape with the kit, but at this price I would not expect any leaks. Time will tell.

Brilliant purchase works as described and all attachments are great. Best hoses we have ever bought.

This hosepipe is really good. The brass fittings make such a difference. A stronger hosepipe too. This one should last as lasts years all sprung a leak.
