Kept my scratched rim from getting scratched worse!

You could spend more and get nicer rim savers but for the cost they are worth it. I keep them in the trunk on my sidecar in the event that I ever need them or if I come across someone who needs them. At the cost I would share them with a fellow motorcyclist. Cheap insurance against scarring up your rims during a side of the road tire change. If you change a LOT of tires your interest would be better served by spending more for a better quality but for the price they can't be beat.
