These larger well made mats are really lovely. They look expensive as well.

Great looking and sturdy mats

The top layer is made of soft material which takes any scratch and the damage grows with any use. Using them for 6 months and both of them(we used only 2) looks terrible. Damage, scratches and dents all over it. All damage done by regular cups, dishes etc.

Solid well made expensive looking

Sturdiness ok. Not good value for money because In 6 months time leather has chipped here and there and placemats look ugly.

These are my second lot, my old ones were years old and damaged, so happy to find replacements at a reasonable price.

Used these only twice since I received them, when the blue surface flaked off in the corner when wiping them clean. VERY disappointed. I chose Pimpernel because of the quality I remembered from earlier years. That quality seems to be absent.
