I've just used this on my wooden worktops. It brought out the colour and the grain very well, and it's made them look smart again. I've put a protective cover of the Uulki wax on top. I used to use Danish Oil, but it gave me a dreadful headache and it also took several days to dry - this Uulki oil smells nice, gave me no headache and dried much faster. so far so good.....

Very good oil, easy to use and economical. Made my chopping board look gorgeous. Now I have found it, I won't use anything else.

This oil is good for all types of wooden boards and other kitchen items made of wood. It's almost odourless and spreads well as it's quite thin. I use a small brush for ease of application. After using it, wait for a few hours before wiping off the surplus with a clean soft cloth.

I think I bought it because it had “vegan” on the bottle. I had been struggling to find a good food safe oil that was easy to use. This is the best oil I have ever used for chopping boards. Very happy and I recommend it. It turns the boards a little darker, but all oils do that. It has a slight (pleasant) citrus aroma when applying, but this soon disappears. The finish is Matt with a satin sheen if that makes sense. I used it on several different boards, some new requiring oil for the first time and others just needed reoiling with one coat. It is good value for money because you only need to use a little and it does a great job. I could have used something cheaper but the result would not have been comparable in my opinion. The package it came in was starting to fall apart, which could have been solved with a bit of tape.

Great product but container had less than 250ml that is mentioned on the bottle. Very disappointed in that, but I had no time to send back. Otherwise as a product it is very good.

I bought this oil to oil the newly installed wooden worktops. This oil makes the job very pleasant as it smells like an expensive body oil I have, very natural and with no nasty chemicals added. I have also oiled a wooden Ikea breadboard with this oil and it worked really well. It lasts quite a while too as the oil goes quite a long way. I have oiled the surface quite a few times already and there is still plenty left in the bottle

Really good stuff goes on well and goes a long way too, leaves the boards with a fresh zesty smell, would definitely recommend

This oil worked well for most of my wooden surfaces and is very pleasant to use. However, my acacia cutting board went from brilliant to dull. Perhaps this oil is not suitable for that type of wood.

davvero un ottimo prodotto! Ho cominciato col trattare i taglieri di casa, che hanno recuperato nuova forma. Poi sono passato a tavolo e mobili (vecchi di almeno 100 anni) e anche qui il risultato è eccellente. Il tempo di assorbimento è abbastanza breve, dipende però dalla quantità applicata e dal tipo di legno, il legno antico assorbe in misura minore. Dopo qualche esperimento con carta, pezzette o altro, ho preferito applicare l'olio con due dita: nessuno spreco, operazione piacevole, e buon profumo. La superficie trattata assume una morbidezza nuova, e il legno riprende tonalità di colore che aveva perso. Tutto questo esteticamente parlando. Dal lato funzionale, gli attrezzi in legno (mortaio, tagliere, mattarello, cucchiai etc) comportano minore esposizione all'uso e maggiore durabilità. Soldi davvero ben spesi, si.

Ich habe mir für viel Geld das "Frankfurter Brett" in Bambus bestellt. Diese Arbeitsbretter sind nicht nur bildschön, sondern zeichnen sich durch die Halterungen für die passend erhältlichen Kunststoff- oder Edlestahlbehälter aus. Aber so ein Brett benötigt eben Pflege. Kauft man sich ein Schneidebrett in einem bekannten schwedischen Möbelhaus, bezahlt man ein paar Euro, weiß, dass das beschichtet ist, und entsorgt das irgendwann, weil es seinen Zweck erfüllt hat. Nicht so it dem Frankfurter Brett. Das soll ein Leben lang halten - zumindest ansatzweise. Aber deswegen steht in den Pflegehinweisen des herstellers auch "ölen, ölen und nochmals ölen". Auf der Suche nach dem passenden Öl bin ich über das Uulki gefallen. Die Anwendung ist simpel: Abends das Brett einölen - am besten mit einem Küchentuch das Öl verteilen - und über Nacht einwirken lassen. Am nächsten Morgen das überschüssige, weil eben nicht aufgenommene Öl mit einem Tuch abwischen und fertig ist ein erneuter Schutz gegen Wasserflecke. Das Öl riecht nicht, hinterlässt keine Rückstände und ist somit bestens gerade für Schneidebretter in der Küche geeignet. Mehr braucht es nicht. Wenn ich den Verbrauch nach den ersten Anwendungen abschätze, so denke ich, dass der Inhalt der Flasche für gute 20 mal einölen ausreichen sollte. So stimmt dann auch das Preis-/Leistungs-Verhältnis.

mon Tek de la salle de bains est transformé. Du coup j'ai fait aussi toutes les planches et sous plats en bois brut de la maison et c'est super. Il n y a pas du tout d'odeur. Très bon produit.
