Suspenseful Ending
What happens when your small town convicted your boyfriend’s father for being a serial killer? It’s a year later… Penny knows she should be leaving her ex-boyfriend, Nash, alone because people tend to frown upon families who have a serial killer in them. Especially when it comes to small town living. Halloween is approaching and while costume shopping Penny finds a dead body. Penny struggles with who she can trust and figure out while bodies are piling up if this is a copycat killer or not. In addition to these struggles Penny is being pulled towards Nash and must figure out if she still wants to be with him or not.Overall, I really enjoyed this book! I will continue to slowly work my way through Natasha Preston’s thriller books. The ending to this book had me screaming! Please please please let me know your thoughts!!!

Great YA Book
We got a couple books by this author. My teenager and I both read this. It’s a great book for teens and not very scary. Also great for anyone who likes YA. I will definitely read more of her books.

What….? It Can’t End Like This
If you had asked me how I liked this book, I would have told you I loved it! It was the perfect murder mystery thriller set around Halloween. I had no idea who was behind all of this, and I was guessing until it was revealed. Then I was still in shock. You may ask if I loved it so much why it’s only getting 3 stars. What ruined the book for me was the way it ended. It ends in a way that I didn’t think that could possibly be the last page. We are left in essentially a giant cliffhanger with no idea of what happens next. Does anyone leave that final scene? Was Nash involved? We don’t know and to me that feels like an unfinished story. There’s no plans for a sequel either so it just feels unfair to readers to have an ending like this.

Couldn't out it down
I recently found this author. Bought a few books of her's. It is a page turner. She keeps you interested in the characters and pulls you even more in with the twists and turns. If you love a thriller, pick this up plus more from her.

Perfect Spooky Season Book
Book Review:🩸The Haunting by Natasha Preston🩸This is the second book I’ve read by author Natasha Preston. The Haunting did not disappoint! It’s the perfect slasher thriller for YA fans and just in time for spooky season!Last year there was a series of murders in a small town leading up to Halloween. Penny, a 17 year old girl is smack dab in the middle of it all. She’s trying to forget her ex, Nash, whose dad just so happens to be the convicted murderer. But she still cares about Nash. As her and her friends get ready for the Halloween season, more and more bodies keep ending up dead. Could there be a copy cat killer on the loose?I really enjoyed this book. It was quick paced and kept my attention. If you’ve read any books by Natasha Preston, you know how they end…I yelled, “What the Hell!!!” when I read the last sentence. I’ll definitely say, her books stay with you as you try to figure things out in your head!

A true page turner!
I HIGHLY recommend reading this book. It was perfect time finding this book during the halloween season as it's set up around the week or halloween in the book. I'm not one to fly through a book super fast, but I read through this entirely within 24 hours! From the very start of the book I was drawn in and interested. It wasn't a story line where I had to push myself to keep reading. If anything th8is was a book I had to force myself to stay awake at night despite being so tired so I could continue to read it, lol.It was a true page turner. Always needing to continue. So many surprises. This is a fun "whodunit", murder mystery, suspense, thriller book. Its characters are set as High School age therefore this book would also be really good for Young Adults. I however and not a young adult and still really enjoyed it.I was extremely surprised by the ending and never would have guessed how it turned out.I hope to see a sequel to this book of what's to come next!5 STARS - EASILY!

Not my favorite at all!
I’m half way through this but I have to write a review before I forget all my feeling for this mess. I love Natasha Preston’s books this is my third but this was not good at all. Most is just juvenile dialogue about her relationship with nash and if he is or isn’t the killer. Nothing is really going on. For this book to be so short it should have been more action packed and a few murders than just 2 and again I’m halfway! Absolutely nothing is really going on and I would have dnf’d if it wasn’t for me wanting to finish and find out who the killer is. And I’m so upset bc the cover is so good!!Now that I’ve finished the I only good thing is the ending and the cliffhanger of course - I actually like her cliffhangers. They’re fun!

hmmm
I’m annoyed at the ending of this book. I liked it, but the ending wasn’t for me. I feel it just needed a bit more.
