Mviioe Cooling Fan for Steam Deck OLED, Steam Deck Cooler with Steam Deck Accessories Support Steam Deck Case, Must- Have Efficient Portable Steam Deck Fan

I was very skeptical of ordering this Steam Deck cooling device, especially with 0 reviews and all the various engrish in the product description. HOWEVER, after using it for a week, I can safely say that this thing is totally legit and a nice cooler for my steam deck. I'll update my review as I continue to use it, to let folks know if it is still going strong or has an issue. Now onto the details...Things I love about it:- it is rechargeable via USB-C (I was fully expecting it to be micro-usb like most of the off-brand charging devices like this)- It comes with adhesive-circular-velcro pads, protective sticker strips, and a charging cord (this saves you a trip to the store to grab something to secure it)- it provides an option for folks who DON'T want to use the sticky pads directly to their Steam Deck - it includes an extending rubber attachment for anyone attaching it with a protective case on the deck, like in my case.- Well, it definitely cools the steam deck down. I'm going off of the heat I used to feel from the deck on the screen, the back, and from the exhaust port. Go ahead and clock the temp to verify on your own, but it is totally cooling my deck - it constantly sucks out the heat-exhaust resulting in cooler insides. Both in docked mode and portable btw.- This thing is portable. No need to have an open USB port to turn this on - just charge it up and then it'll run for a couple hours (I'm still testing the duration of the battery after a full charge). I do keep it charging while in use from the steam deck doc, but you don't technically need that.Things I don't like about it:- Nothing, I have no complaints at this time.Summary:I bought this device because I was noticing the steam deck got super hot when playing most games. I'm currently playing the Mass Effect Legendary Edition in both portable and docked mode. The game ran super hot in general, but I decided to really invest in a cooler when I noticed the exhaust blasting like crazy and the screen + back of the steam deck were just so hot - this of course was during the planet exploration sequences in the Mako lol...So like I mentioned, I didn't want to attach the adhesive velcro pads to the back of my deck directly, so I did what the product images + instructional video suggested and purchased the clear protective case for the deck first (this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BBFM228P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). They accounted for this and included a small rubber extension for the mouth of the cooler to make up for that gap between the deck and the cooling device with the protective case. I confirm it works. Another note to mention is that you should obviously line up the device to the deck's exhaust port BEFORE you set the adhesive stickers - something the instructional video didn't do right IMO. Here's what I did...I'd suggest you 1) put the two adhesive stickers together (attach the velcro), 2) take the backing off one of the sides, 3) Place the adhesive side onto the middle-lower area of the cooling device, 4) Now remove the other side of the adhesive backing (now facing you), 5) Without placing the adhesive to the deck, line up the exhaust port of the deck with the mouth of the cooling device, 5) then once you have it lined up to your preferences slowly push the adhesive side on the cooling device to the deck while still keeping the exhaust port and mouth of the device lined up. Poifect fit.Anyway, I love this thing.

The device came with no charging cable or the Velcro stickers. It was packed in a clear plastic baggie. I am wondering if I received a refurbished item and not a new item. Other then that I was able to use my own charger and it works for the most part.

Steam deck is an awesome device but it has a big problem in AAA games, heating and it's normal. it needs help and this cooler device is helping a lot. The last time I saw the temperature when I play fifa 23 on Windows tempature was 80-85 sometimes I saw 90 degrees before I bought this cooler. As you can see on low fan speed mode tempature is 68 in the image. The highest temperature was 75 but its decreasing and gives me more playtime because it's not heating.Cooler device battery lifetime is enough I think played 6 hours still have energy in it maybe because I'm playing on the low speed fan i don't know.Device is not heavy it's not making steam deck heavier i didnt really felt that.You don't need to increase fan speed too much, low was really enough for me but of course if it's not enough for you increase it slowly and find the safe spot.Tests i made:Forza horizon 4 (60fps high graphics): Before 80-85 - After 68-74Fifa 23 (low graphics) : Before 80-85 - After 66-75Far cry is going around 68Assasins Creed going around 71Days gone going around 73Red Dead redemption going around 71Fan level was low speed probably i could get better results if I turned it to max fan speed but as I said fan noise is too much I think you won't be regret. For me it's a 5 star product

It doesn't stay on at all. I used the two sticky disks but the weird thing is they only stick on to the fan and the deck itself, they don't stick to each other so they're basically useless. I pick up my deck and with almost any movement at all, the fan falls off. I can't even really test the fan itself because it won't stay on the deck long enough to see if it works.

Playing some of the more graphically intensive games on the steamdeck? You need this. This fan does wonders and has it's own battery so you're not looking for multiple places to plug in. The fit was a hair loose, but I used the included Velcro disks (they're supposed to be for use with a case, but I found them to be essential to keeping the fan in place right in the deck itself) and it's perfect.Keeps things cooler even at slower speeds. Remember to turn it off when you're done, however. I always forget unless it's way up and running louder.

If you are looking to cool down your steam deck this works. I notice less hiccups on performance and no crashes when gaming due to my device not overheating anymore.

I ordered this product because the Jsaux version was sold out for over a month. Got the product and the velcro sticker is pointless. The cusion is pointless. You can actually just clip it into the vents. So this machine likes to just go dead completly. Within the 2nd day after i charged it. It just died. I then touch the charging port with the usb c and it starts right up again no problem. So I thought. Well this became a normal thing. I was not using a a large watt usb c btw. So every now and then it would happen over and over again. I should of returned it but was still waiting to make jsaux order. Well finally I got my order in for the new Jsaux cooler and go figure now this fan did the same thing but now after the charge my trick of getting it to turn back on is not working. Please just order the Jsaux cooler. This one is garbage all around

My video games play on my screen back without crashing. Very amazing product I would recommend.
