incredibly good budget option
i bought these boots december 25 2023. since then they have been through snow, rain, mud, ice, sleet, slush, you name it. i volunteer at a habitat for humanity site twice a week for 6 months now, these boots have been through hundreds of hours in so many different conditions, and my feet always come home dry and warm (unless it’s below 20 and i didn’t wear the right socks, but you understand). they’re still going strong, i may update this review when they wear out. but as far as i’m concerned, i will use these boots for my construction needs from now on.they fare well with ladders, and i didn’t even feel like i had to break them in.added bonuses, they’re so stylish and comfortable. i got compliments on them all the time before they got covered in mud. and even so, they still look good. i don’t have any pictures of them since they’re muddy, but they are amazing quality especially for the price.

Great for casual wear, but not for daily work use.
These boots are very nice if you plan to wear them lightly. I have purchased 2 pairs since the Fall of 2023, and have worn each daily for work. I am an inspector, and half of my time is spent in the field and half in the office. What I like about them is the leather is of high quality, and they are easy to clean after getting muddy. A few issues I do have with them is that the soles are very lightweight, and too flexible. I typically can get 4-5 months out of them without having any issues, but after that, the tread will wear completely off, and the soles will develop a hole that allows water to get my feet wet. The laces will also last about that long before beginning to shred. All in all if this shoe is simply worn a few times a week casually they would be a great shoe, and can only be trusted to wear daily for a few months in a row otherwise you need to plan to replace them frequently.

Great buy 👍
The media could not be loaded. Purchased these boots for a trip to Oregon in March. I bought the grey ones for myself and the black ones for my son. I was so happy with them that I actually made a video for this review during my trip. They were warm and stayed dry in rain, puddles, mud, and snow. They are true to their size. The material on the grey boots is plastic that is made to look like leather. They still look great. Great buy especially for the price. So far I have hiked with them, used them for the office, dinner with my wife, and even worn them to a wedding with a suit. I would say that the overall reviews are accurate.

The Tale of Two Boots
Before I purchase a product on Amazon I dedicate time reading reviews with hopes to potentially eliminate inferior products. Unfortunately in this instance my review research did not prevent a bad purchase. I don't often write reviews yet in this instance I felt it was warranted in hopes to warn others about this product. My first few weeks of wearing these boots I received several compliments from others. I also was pleased with the overall look. The boots kept my feet fairly warm, and did a decent job keeping my feet dry with only minimally wet socks.I gave these 1 star because with only 1 month of wear a hole appeared on the bottom heel of the boots. I was shocked as I hardly walked with them. After inspection I can see that the bottom rubber is extremely thin and will likely tear even with minimal use. If I could take back my purchase I would, I suppose this is what I get for trying to save a little money buying an off brand.Do not purchase if you want a lasting boot.

Style over comfort; better after being broken in
I bought these for my husband. He normally doesn’t love a high-top boot, but he said these looked nice and fit well with slim-fit jeans. Material-wise, they are high quality and have decent support within. They have taken quite a while to break in, which seems to be typical for my own boots of this style, so we weren’t surprised. The top fits tighter against the ankle than he would like (maybe a personal preference) - this seems like an impractical style choice. He had to stretch out the top before he would wear them. We would recommend wearing them for short periods of time until you break them in.
