UPON OPENING:Of the 24 tiles I ordered, 12 came with improper cut size (left stack in photo). Rather than 12"x12", they were 12"x11.5" or 11.5"x11.5". You could see the cut line going through the edge of the pyramid shapes, leaving a lip on some tiles, and incomplete pyramids on others. 2 additional tiles had deformed "melted" edges (pair photo; see tips of bottom edge). That left 10 usable panels (right stack in photo). I also noted that a few tiles were not square, but only near-square (not shown), and a couple more had some kind of sticky glue substance on the pyramids.EDIT / POST INSTALL:Adding 2 stars. I installed all 24 tiles hoping that I was overthinking things. Turns out I totally I was! I placed the deformed edges into the corner, flush with the wall, then squished the perpendicular tiles on top of them. It looked great even before placing the sensor pole in the corner. The aforementioned "lips" on the edges of some tiles actually proved to be a boon, as I could easily tuck them under the edge of other tiles, making for a more seamless transition. It's true that some of the tiles aren't perfectly 12x12, but they're so compressible that it's pretty easy to squish or pull them into the proper positions, even as you place them. I will be ordering two more packs; as you can see from the new photo, I'm not quite finished yet. It's not 100% perfect, but the minor imperfections are such that no one is going to notice them unless they are within 1 foot of the wall AND actively looking for them.

I put these on my door. Front and back to reduce sound from my roommates. It definitely works by around 15 Db levels.. which is major! Unfortunately, my door is hollow and isn’t treated. It removed a lot of echo and noise from inside my room it is very quiet now and I love it! Stickiness on the tiles are great! (Follow the instructions included & you should have no issues placing them) Right when you open the packaging they start expanding immediately & out of the 24 pack that I ordered only 1 seemed unfixable the first two days because of how squished it was but after letting it rest it came right up to it’s full size! I literally installed them within 5 minutes of opening the box! Hope this review was helpful. :)

More is better for a finished look and less sound, they have decreased sound significantly and looks pretty good.

Out of the 48 I ordered. 24 of them were either cut wrong, made wrong and/or wouldn't uncompress due to damage.Ended up using those 24 on low sports or corners so they wouldn't be viewable.Overall I am ordering 12 more to finish my area.

This stuff is great and the self adhesive works well so far. We will see if it stays up overnight. Some reviews share that there are issues with panels being compressed or cut wrong, but they just needed some rubbing to release some of the spring.

These tiles are easy to install. Just peel off the backing and stick to the wall. They stop your voice bouncing around when you are recording, and are so good at dampening noise, my neighbors think I'm dead.

Is foam panels 12 x 12 square do not expand. Become vacuum packed flattened and barely move from that depth of foam. In other words, they stay uncomfortably flat. These have a peel off adhesive backing. That’s nice if you don’t want to buy glue or inhale fumes from spray glue. However, there are other panels without this adhesive backing that can be applied with some spray glue that do expand to a full one to 2 inches of depth. Much better for my money.
