I love this product! After years of using sheets of parchment to lift my sourdough boules in and out of a hot Dutch oven, I'm thrilled to have this simple solution. Not only does it waste no paper, it doesn't leave creases in the sides of my boules that I was getting from the bunched-up parchment. I do find that sometimes my aim is off when I turn my dough out onto the bread sling (even when I center the sling carefully over the banneton), but that's user error, not a fault of the design. I highly recommend this.

I love the size and shape of this sling! I was going through way too much parchment and this sling works better anyway! I can take a sourdough loaf out of the dutch oven and walk with it without worry of it falling - the handles are sturdy and easy to grip with my gorilla oven mitts. They're a little too thick to stick outside of the lid as it wouldn't allow the dutch oven to be air tight but that's okay. This smaller size fits in my 5 qt oven; the handles just fold in over the bread and the bread browns fine that way. In my 6 qt Lodge dutch oven, the handles can slip under the lid by 1.5" on either side so they don't flap over the bread at all. I wish I bought 2 since I'm baking so much but I can use it relatively quickly out of the oven for another loaf!

Bread maker loved this! Now everyone she knows wants one. But definitely make sure to get the ones that withstand the higher oven temps, like this one touted.

No more using lots of parchment paper. Or having it rip as I try to carry a loaf in and out of the pan.

I really love this item for baking sourdough bread in my Dutch oven. I like that I have so much parchment paper and that this is reusable.
