Great addition to my AS6706T!
Bought the AS6706T as a replacement for my AS6604T.I know it's not a huge upgrade, but it had some improvements that I found very helpful. Faster CPU, faster DDR4 ram speeds, and the addition of either 4 nvme ssds or this combo card (Asustor AS-T10G3).Now to get the full bandwidth possible I have an ASUS ROG AXE16000 with 2x 10G ports and I transfer from my gaming setup (z790/13700k) which did have a built-in 2.5G port now upgraded to an Intel X550-T2 10G card.I am getting around 600MB/s transfer speeds from my PC to my NAS. Previously with both running off the 2.5G ports only about 200MB/s. So, it has definitely sped up my transfer speeds.BUT.......The best thing about this card is it finally fixed a huge issue I was having with my NAS. I mainly use it as a PLEX server for Movies and TV, and with the advent of 4k Movies, transferring huge files was happening very frequently. I had this issue with my previous NAS as well as my new one where transfers would stop midway through and my NAS would no longer be accessible. Now the easy fix was to unplug my 10G ethernet cables from the router and swap ports and plug them back in. Then the NAS would be recognizable again and I could restart the transfer. Problem is this could sometimes happen 2/3 times with just one big file. This 10G card has eliminated that issue!!!!Now transfers are faster and do not die midway through!!! That alone is worth the price of this card in my opinion, even though admittedly it shouldn't have been an issue to begin with. Using 2x WD SN700 2TB NVME for read/write cache is overkill but I already had them so why not.

Full 10gbe throughput for reads and writes to the NVMe SSds
Extremely fast upgrade for Asustor NAS. Testing with Raid 1 (mirror) NVMe SSDs allowed for full 10gbe throughput for both reads and writes.

It is working
I have it installed in my Asustor AS6706T. The install was fairly easy. I am getting 9.5 GB/s in one direction and 7.5 GB/s in the other. I have two also installed Seagate (FireCuda 530 1Tb NMVE's) in the two slots as Read-Write Cache. Too soon to tell if it will make a great improvement or not. This card is way too expensive for what you get, especially considering the NMVE's are capped around 1 Mb/s, due to the PCIe 3.0 x 1. So you wont get full benefit of the NMVE drives. In total, it was around a $600 upgrade. 4* due to the cost.

Funktioniert
Installation einfach. 2 Nvme weiterhin nutzbarEinziges Manko: Zu Teuer. Der höhere Speed lohnt sich. Wird aber nur erziehlt wenn die Festplatten schnell sind.

Waste of money
The media could not be loaded. I have a ASUS ROG AXE16000 that has 2 nos. 10G port.. so bought this add on card to connect with my ASUSTOR AS6706T NAS for better performance.. Again, I'm on an alienware with 1G wifi capability.. You see , with the best of hardware.. My speed experience on this card is absolutely same.. i.e. 50Mbps on cat 7 cable.. also, using 2Tb seagate NVMe for read and write cache.Save your money, no point of buying this 10G card. No good !
