I bought these after a nasty burn on my metal handled pots. They are perfect for slipping over the extremely hot metal handles without the bulk of a regular full hand oven mitt. They are easier to store and fit all of our pots and pans. I recommend them highly.

It did what it was supposed to do. I used it on my carbon steel pan and it works well.

My older rubber ones which I thought would be better these fabric ones are not easy to clean and wash and over time they did NOT keep the heat reduction of the handle down. These are good when new, but I suspect if you wash them they will lose their heat reducing qualities like my previous one from another manufacture.

The only issue we had with these but it was our own fault was to leave them on the pan handle while cooking on a gas range. When used properly, they are great and easy to slip on and off when moving the pan.

Definitely blocks the heat, fits a bit loose on the handle but work good
