I think it says it’s “one size fits most”. It’s a little big for me and I don’t have a small head. I even washed it in hot water and it’s still a little big.

I try to walk before 10am because of the bright Florida sunlight and usually wear a visor. There are times when I do yard work and need to keep the sun off my neck when it is so hot. I have wanted a wide-brimmed hat for a while and immediately ordered this Home Prefer UPF50+ Hat. There was a slight odor out of the bag and needed to be aired out. I was pleased with the aqua color because it was more of a light turquoise blue than a green. The camouflage casual design isn't obnoxious. The brim measures 3 1/4" wide. The chinstrap is a nice length, but the plastic toggle is cheap and difficult to adjust. The elastic pull string in the back of the hat only slightly sinches the circumference of the hat around my 22" head. The side snaps are a nice touch, if I want to shorten the brim. The stitching and denim-like material feels durable. The label says 100% cotton and must be handwashed. I could probably wash it on delicate. What concerned me is that there is no tag regarding UPF protection. A NYTimes article says, "Clothing tags often state a UPF rating, but not necessarily whether companies have complied with those specific standards. A Seal of Recommendation from the Skin Cancer Foundation does indicate compliance, though not all brands apply for this distinction." One way to test a material is to hold it up to a light to see how much shines through. I like this hat and think it will provide some measure of protection while I am outdoors.

Great for any and all outdoor activities. Keeps my face neck and head from burning, keeps me cooler. When it rains it is a must have! Durable, made extremely well. Has adjustable width to fit any sized head. Far better than the one I had in the Marines.

I ordered this Home Prefer UPF50+ Mens Womens Sun Hat Wide Brim Fishing Hat Camo Cowboy Hat (isn't that a mouthful) to wear when outside and working in the yard. I've warn hats like this before but never with this big of a brim. It is about 3.5" at the front and back and 3" on the sides. I like that it is cotton but wonder how it could shrink after sweating in it a couple of times or soaking it with water like I would do when it is hot in the summer. So far I like it, it does shade pretty well and works at protecting my neck, and in that respect it is much better than a ball cap. I won't be winning any beauty contests with it, and I also can't wear over the ear hearing protection, even with the sides pinned up. Overall though I'm excited to have it and hope to use it a lot.

This is a great hat. You can wear it snapped up like a cowboy hat or unsnapped like a safari hat. You can adjust the tightness, and you have a neck cord so it will stay on in any weather. It's soft and packable and breathable. I'm not sure what more you could ask out of a hat.

I recently moved from NYC to California. I got burn very easily so I needed something to protect my precious skin. Anyhow, I got this hat and I am happy that I got this. So here is what I think.Build Quality & Design:So this has shape of conventional fishing / hiking hat. It has pretty wide hat brim, there is a mesh inside of the hat to give extra air pocket. It has 4 heat "bent" so inside of the hat doesn't get overly hot. There is a side adjuster so this can be used regardless of the head circumference. I got the khaki color, and it has common military camo pattern, and I think it looks relatively casual, so good for the external activity.Functionality:As I mentioned above, it has many adjuster, so you can simply correct the size of the hat. The hat material is 100% cotton, relatively crispy feeling rather than sticky/humid cotton. It claims it has UPF50+ and I believe it does protect sun pretty well. I generally get burn just walking from the parking lot to lab (where I work) but after I wear this hat, I never get burn / red / hot at least around my face / head. If you have skin like mine, this is highly recommended along with good quality sunscreen.Buy this if you need: a UV protective hat with wide hat brimDon't if you need: a formal looking hat. Camo is not necessarily the most formal pattern you can have.
