I was in this play, many moons ago, in High School and wanted to have a copy like the play books we all used before onstage and well, that's just what this is. :-):-):-):-)

Ehhh 🤷🏽♀️
I needed this book for class. The message in the book is great but it’s a bit confusing to read and understand through one read.

and was good value for the money
Book was as advertised, arrived as forecast, and was good value for the money. The book is a good addition to my reference library.

Good Service
I got my play in plenty of time for me to read it over break. It's in pretty good condition. There are a few torn pages and things like that, but that makes me feel alright writing notes in it.

Sublimating women's stunted growth
Williams treats the reader/spectator like an idiot. I can’t get over the fact that the author actually intended on putting his bests lines on a huge billboard above the stage in case you were too stupid to understand what were the important lines in the play…The only other time I felt so infantilized as a reader was when I read Camus’s “ the just”, and considering how heavy handed Camus can be, that’s saying something. But what is worse, the main female character is emotionally basically a five year old, even though she is supposed to be a young adult. In real life, a dreadful, crass kind of sexism can sometimes stunt women’s development so they stay “cute”, passive and submissive. But when an author creates such a stupid, weak, idiotic, vaporous character and then somehow idealizes her, it really makes you sick – it’s not cute. The author tries to sell you this idiot of a main character like she is this pure angel. To think a man could find this kind of woman endearing is really disturbing to me - a woman who actually grew up into an adult human being. I mean, she is supposed to be so fragile, she can barely stand up without passing out. That’s supposed to be sweet? YUCK. Gross.
