Looks like mud, but the cats love it!
I dont know what this is but it definitely isnt cat food. I've tried 3 individual packets and the result is the same. I've used the recommended amount of water, I've used less water. Every single time it turns into the only thing I can describe is mud. There is zero smell. It does not form into a pate. Its just sludge. The cats turn their nose up at it and walk away.Edit: After some much trial and error we were able to find the right amount of water to use and made sure the water was warm. The cats absolutely love it and their both are empty rather quickly.

I wish this food had less carbs
This is good food, and I very much appreciate the use of clean ingredients & the absence of gums and other crap that my cats have no need for. Both my cats like the original Grace food - one took to it quickly and loves it beyond measure. I used it to give him food with no fear of competition from my other cat for about 5 years until he, having considered the matter carefully, decided he likes it too.But then, with no warning or explanation, Honest Kitchen is discontinuing their old food and presenting us with a new formula. OUCH. As anyone with a cat knows well, that is a royal PITA at best and a disaster at worst. Not appreciated, HK. At least keep the old food around for die hard fans like my Charlie. I do appreciate that the new formula is higher in protein and lower in fat. Fortunately I was able to snag one of the last boxes of the old food, to help with what is going to be a difficult transition. One other note: Honest Kitchen contains too much carbohydrate for a cat (11% for the turkey food, higher for other flavors). So I only feed my cats the turkey food, and at no more than half their diet (the other half is homemade raw with no added veggie fillers).

Not good for cats with IBS
I have one cat with IBS, so I try to keep him eating only anti inflammatory, well sourced, organic foods. My holistic vet and a friend whose cat also has IBS recommended this brand. I bought the 10 pack (luckily, as this food is not returnable). He and his brother loved it, but as others have mentioned, he vomited a lot more (from maybe 1x a week, to after every meal). Why do they use potatoes as a second ingredient? Cats are obligate carnivores, and don’t need many carbs in their diet. Instead, concentrate on protein and if adding a few carbs, don’t add an inflammatory nightshade! Instead maybe substitute sweet potatoes for the potato. If you’re going to advertise as well sourced, human grade food, then think about the actual food source. Unhappy with this brand and unhappy I can’t get a refund.

Waste of money
My cats would not eat this at all! I started with a very small amount to transition them and they wouldn’t touch it. I mixed some up and put it out for the feral cat I feed. He sniffed it and then peed on it and walked away. What a waste of money

Kitties found it lacking
I thought the ingredient quality & the roasted chicken smell was great, but my kitties found it lacking & wouldn't eat it much.
