This definitely does work as an essential oil diffuser and it works fabulously. I think there is some confusion on how you use it and how it works because of the translation on the instructions. You have to hold down the button for a few seconds until the light comes on and then press it for a short second and wait for the steam to come out, it makes a little noise when it first comes on so just listen for the warning sound. It’s adorable and fills a room nicely with fragrance if you use enough oil in the water.

I really like this humidifier and while the description says on the box it's a humidifier and the instructions say not to use with oils. It works very well for both reasons (yes, I read NOT to use with oils after the fact). Instructions say to fill it only to 60ml, which is 1/3 of the way. Also, it sputters all over my desk (I thought it was just excited from being out of the box) but it's still happening after a few days, so put it on a surface which won't be damaged by water or oils. It really sends strong humidified air out, which I appreciate. They send everything needed in the box [USB cord and extra filter], however, I perceive it may not run a long time if used with oils. a little disappointed. i was looking for a small diffuser for my kids rooms and these don't blow out anything like the picture shows. in fact when i put the oil in there and turned them on.. you couldn't even smell the oil. weird. but not happy with these.

If this had minus stArs I would give that! Poor quality stopped working 3 month after purchasing, even ehen it was working the top where the heater is was constantly getting rusted and that Olson impacted the character, gross! Don’t waste your money!this is a hazard!

Stopped working after 2 weeks.

Returning ASAP. This product does not work as a diffuser. I bought to use in a small space as it said would work as a diffuser but inside the box it says not to use with oils. Not only this, but the Cable didn’t even fit to plug it in. Poorly made and not worth your time.
