Great deterrent for critters and people walking their dogs in your yard. Volume can go up and down. Very sensitive so you have to play with the settings to suit your yard.

I bought this mainly to repell a skunk that I spotted on my Ring camera on a nightly basis digging up my front lawn. I initially turned off the audible alarm and set the ultrasonic alarm setting to 2 for small animals (but no lights). the skunk didn't seem to notice the device, so I changed the ultrasonic setting to 5, which adds the lights and the sound becomes more audible. This setting seems to be effective. It takes about a week to take full effect. The skunk has not returned. I recommend this device.

I bought this because the squirrels at my workplace ate all the wiring under the hood of my van. Two days later I pulled into work and snapped this picture. The little owl was making the noise and going off as should but the squirrel literally didn’t care.

We had a problem with a pesky woodpecker making holes in the side of our stucco house. After purchasing this product, the woodpecker has not returned. The product has been operational for over a month now mounted on the side of our house. The volume is set at 50% and doesn't disturb the neighbors or us at all.

Not only did this owl prevent sparrows from nesting in our roof line, but I’ve positioned it about ~50 feet from our mailbox to scare away thieves. We caught someone on camera at 3am walk up to our mailbox, opened one box (we have both neighbors mail boxes in front of our house), the alarm sounded and they took off running! Highly recommend!

It's cute, and it has multiple options, but it also lights up the yard and wakes up your neighbors too. The motion detector is very sensitive, because it can't tell the difference from a palm tree swaying in the wind and a dog walking in the yard. As I said, there are multiple options, and we used them all. For about two weeks, the max noise and flashing lights did keep the raccoon family from our pool, but then they stopped being afraid of it, and I'm sure we were driving our neighbors crazy with the alarms in the middle of the night.

We ordered this to scare away ducks that kept landing in our pool . You can set it to different frequencies for different animals . The eyes would flash and it would make a loud annoying alarm but it did scare them off. I wish it had a remote- because sometimes it was going off all the time and prob annoying our neighbors - but we did turn the sound off after awhile and had just lights flashing .
