Fluid Extractor, Extraction&Fill Pump,Fluid Syringe Pump Manual Suction Vacuum Fuel Car Transfer (500cc)

Seems solid and simple enough. From the factory it came with some kind of thin clear oil all over the plunger, not sure what it was but it didn’t lubricate the orings very well. I washed it with just some soap and water and the orings were sticking even worse, put some silicone grease (I just used dielectric grease) on them and now it slides fine.

I had previously bought another brand and it would constantly get stuck. I returned it.This one flows nicely. I use it to collect oil from an oil pan after changing my motorcycle oil and put the old oil back into containers to take Auto Zone for recycling.I highly recommend it.

I over-filled the oil on my motorcycle. The low price and compact size of this FTIHTRY Fluid Extractor were all the convincing I needed to buy. I was very pleased to see that the package contained two extra O-rings for the piston. On first use I was disappointed that it would only suck up about 2" of oil into the suction cylinder. This I attributed to air leakage past the dry, pre-installed O-rings. I believe if I had let the first oil extraction coat the entire inside of the suction cylinder (thereby sealing the O-rings) the problem would be solved in future uses.

This makes changing the oil in my small engines so much easier. Before I'd avoid changing the oil if the engine didn't have a drain plug or it was hard to get to. Now its a piece of cake. Plus it doubles to drain or fill up reservoirs on my car that are hard to get to because a part or something is in the way.You can drain out old brake fluid or power steering fluid when doing a fluid change. Yeah definitely a game changer.

I was dreading changing my vintage Alfa gearbox oil because of the limited refill access. I added a 10 inch section of clear tubing with an ID tight fit over the OD of the plastic tubing that came with the plunger, and it was perfect. Working on my back under the car, I sucked oil out of the can and then bent the clear tube in a U-shape up into the cavity space so that the fluid went down into the hole. Using the 500cc pump, it took four times to finish filling. Not one drop escaped from the pump plunger or fill hose snap-in connection, but raising the tubing into the air and knocking over the can once made a mess unrelated to the pump itself. The pump resistance of sucking and pushing 90 weight oil requires strength, so eat your Wheaties that morning. I write reviews on less than 1% of what I buy, but just wanted to share on this product that saved me time and worry, over however else I would have done to accomplish this job.

Updated Review. I purchased this item in April 2024. I used the extractor today for the first time by attempting to remove some old fuel out of my pressure washer. The extractor would suck the fuel as expected, but it immediately leaked out back down the extractor tube. I checked both rubber O rings on the plunger head and found they were allowing air to enter the vacuum side of the canister.......I don't like spending money and time on things that don't work. I will be requesting a refund.

not so good, I lost the poor fitting hose in my radiator overflow tank, the o rings are so tight is hard to move the plunger. works but poorly. put in a quick disconnect with 1/4 in hose since I no longer have the original that I could not fish out of the coolant tank

I got this to remove water from holes I dig when I do irrigation repairs. It works great for that purpose. It takes out half a liter at a time and reduces the time it take to do a repair since I don't have to wait now for the water to absorb. Two extra O-rings are included. No instructions are included but it's pretty easy to figure out. Works great for a great price. I recommend.

Funciona pero cuesta mucho absorber el líquido y dispensarlo también, si lo quieres para dispensar cuesta hacerlo por que el émbolo al tener que cumplir como sello le cuesta moverse a pesar que parece que viene lubricado
