Outstanding picture lamp. It is very attractive, sturdy, well made and easy to adjust. I especially like the flexibility of installing different types of light bulbs with different wattages and different temperature colors. It is far better than cheaper lamps I have purchased in the past.

I had been looking for corded artwork lighting and was delighted to find these by such great lighting company. It comes with a softer and a stronger intensity. The fixture comes without the light bulbs so be sure to order these when you place your order. They were easy to install and the results speak for themselves!!

I disliked the color of the electrical cord. It looks dirty. But, i love the light on my picture.

Learned that picture lights should be about 50% - 70% as wide as the picture, excluding the frame. Check the internet. This 14" light fits that measure. It's an old painting in a dark corner of the living room. Bought corded fixture because no way paying an electrician to hard-wire a light. Cord is relatively long as described and is a very neutral color. Thumb switch in cord has 'high' and 'low' settings. Found that LED tubular bulbs flickered on low, but these say 'not dimmable.' Will get better bulbs. For now, using incandescent 25 watt bulbs on low. It really makes the painting details pop.Chose 'gold' finish because wanted the fixture to blend in/disappear with the gold frame. Did not want the fixture to draw the onlooker's eyes away from the art as might happen with a darker finish or polished brass, etc. It all depends on personal preference.Installed it to the back of the frame, not the wall, because of how far the picture leans from the wall. Good instructions and easy to attach. Kit included a bracket to attach to frame, but would not work here because the frame is not flat on the back, but protrudes some. Two screws into the frame and it's fine. There is a swivel joint on the lamp to tweak alignment and up/down aiming of the lights.Have another House of Troy light just like this, but three bulbs, attached to an armoire that always was dark inside. Both are stunning.

This frame lamp is a made of handsome antique brass. Adds richness during the day as it does not detract from the art, instead, it blends into the frame. During the evening a lovely aurora of light shows-off my lovely painting. Some frame lamps have disappointed me as some were too shiny and too light-weight. Not this one, this is very elegant.

Beautifully made and I imagine it will work perfectly, once the nice person from Light Logic who called to say he would send me the omitted lamps does so.
