I am a northern lass and I love the authentic dialect used.Now on with the review...This book delivers on depth of characters, development of characters and a fantastic plot to boot. FMC Chloe and MMC Liam are on a second chance romantic journey, even if Chloe doesn't realise to begin with!Liam is the archetypal angry, alpha, rich millionaire, who hasn't forgotten the woman who broke his heart.Chloe is a woman with a complex work history and grieving for her grandma and the woman she herself used to be (with a whole lot of feist too).With a supporting cast of characters including David the Executive Assistant, Penny the bestie, Oscar the business partner and Sean the rather awesome (if scary) Irish rogue, you won't fail to be swept up and into the pages.There's enough spice to keep you entertained, but not to take away from the plot, which I love. And boy is the spice hot! There were some questions left unanswered at the end of the book, which just keeps me wanting more!CC Gelding is an author not afraid of taking on difficult subjects and writes with empathy, but giving her characters pizzazz.

If you're looking for dark romance you can't put down "Steel Vengeance " is a book I highly recommend. The story entices you to read from start to finish.The storyline follows Liam and Chloe who were in love at university but due to one dramatic event parted ways. They meet again 10 years later when Chloe returns to her hometown.Author amazing writing skills allows you to feel emotions of characters in the book. I laughed and cried and everything in between.C C Gedling created story with very strong plot, characters development with touch of spiciness and humour. You feel connected not only to main characters but also their friends.Can't wait for the second book 😍

It is captivating and most definitely bingeworthy.She had me laughing from the off with the dedication and terminology throughout the book T#@T WAFFLE is a genius phrase to use.She has put a lot of thought and consideration into the plot and character growth which flows throughout the entire story. Truly well written. There is a lot of depth to this story which makes it immersive and engaging with the characters.A few gasp worthy nuggetts were dropped into the earlier half of the story that come to fruition later on that will make you SAY WHAT?!?My favourite character is Penny (best friend/side character), she has her own issues but is so supportive and fierce I want her as my bestie. An amazing book!The story between Liam and Chloe is one that's worth the read! (And I've read it twice!)I won't leave spoilers because I hate giving away anything.But this book is hot! Dark! And just so damn good

Great book the characters grew so much throughout the story especially Liam . I wanted to hate Liam for his treacherous plan against Chloe but when you find out how they’ve both been lied to and manipulated since that night I just couldn’t . Love love loved Pen and her devotion to Chloe we all need a friend like her in our lives.
