SwissGear8020 Eclipse Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels, Ultimate Grey, Carry-On 18-Inch

This item was perfect for me and my family. We have traveled a few times already with this set and I absolutely adore them.

One zipper broke as I zipped it up before a trip. The 2nd zipper apparently broke during my return flight. Luggage arrived taped up with multiple items missing. And it’s too late for a refund (useless after first use - one month after purchase!)

These suitcases are great! My son loves the color and they move so smoothly.

I really wanted to like this I bought it for a trip overseas. So I knew I wanted a hard side I have the medium soft side from the same brand purchased here on Amazon and it has performed very well but this is not what I would expect for this brand so my search continues for a large hard sided suitcase. Also not sure if this is important to you or not but the handle that you pull up the little button in the center that you would push to bring it up or down is not flush and it's stuck out a little bit and I was very leery of what would happen to that button getting broken by the airlines. I just have to buy the larger version of the soft sided Sion from swissgear.

This bag maximizes the space available within the airline carry on size limitations. It takes up the entire 22x14x9 limits including wheels and handles. It includes a zipper that goes around the entire outside of the luggage that will allow it to expand approximately 1 more inch presumably for when you are not using it as a carry on or when the airline isn't paying close attention to the size.It has a divider in the center with zippered pockets to keep your clothing and items organized during your trip. Also included is a built-in cup holder which may come in very handy during long airport waits. The wheels roll nicely even on carpet and the telescoping handle extends more than 20 inches beyond the top of the luggage for easy pulling without needing to bend over. I haven't used it on a trip yet, but I see no quality issues with it.

Contacted swissgear since zipper broke after 2 trips. Bought it last Christmas for my oldest kid. Went though warranty process and the resolution is they offered me 15% off the same luggage but since it’s $149.99 on their website it would be more than I originally paid. I don’t want to buy the same item twice for a warranty issue. Bought another one for my youngest so far that is ok, but don’t expect the 10 year warranty to be honored.

I travel a lot for my job and do a lot of overnight trips on the weekend as well. I hate checking my bags at the airport and have been in the market for a new and improved carry on luggage, so when I saw this pop up in my feed, I knew this was going to be the perfect replacement for me.The luggage itself is perfect. It is a perfect size to fit in overhead bins on an airplane. The handle is sturdy and strong. It does not feel flimsy like it would break unless it was really damaged badly. The wheels turn three hundred sixty degrees which is something that I always need because when I am walking, I like to wheel my luggage upright. Overall, good quick trip luggage to get around. Love it!
