We're pleasantly surprised by these folding chairs. Folded, they do take a bit more space than the typical folding chair, but their looks, comfort, and sturdiness more than make up for this. They are a little smaller than our regular dining chairs and do not really match our existing set, but they comfortably fit a typical adult. They do not feel wobbly or unstable at all. Amazingly, someone unknowing is unlikely to identify them as folding chairs; "extra" chairs, sure, but not as the folding variety. They are sturdy - they take a modicum of deliberate force to open and are not light or cheap feeling. These are actual wooden chairs with a clever hinge mechanism that allows them to fold. Whether they are opened or folded, they WILL remain in that position until you deliberately change it.

These chairs are well designed and surprisingly well constructed, particularly in light of the price. I have a fairly small house, so keeping more than 6 dining room chairs around the house for my dining table and its two leaves when I have dinner guests over was not a great option. These chairs are very sturdy, easy to set up and equally easy to fold up for storage. They are also are very comfortable. The same company makes similar chairs in a number of stain and style options, so if these don't match your dining room chairs well, search on Amazon under the manufacturer's name, Stakmore. I learned this the hard way after buying 4 natural finish chairs which I liked very much only to discover a month or so later on one of the Amazon' famous "customers who bought this also bought..." these chairs that match my main set much better! One of my friends is now enjoying my original set!

I downsized from my large home to a small apartment and had to sell most of my furniture for smaller scale items. I purchased a round table with folding leaves to fit my tiny dining area and bought two of these chairs I could store in the closet until needed. Loved them. Good quality. I had compliments on them and several friends who also ordered them. 5 years later I upsized to a townhome and use the set as a breakfast table in my kitchen. Decide to order two more for extra chairs for company. The seat pads were now a different color so didn’t match the originals. There was a price increase as well (to be expected). I was bummed then found this pair in the return section and bought them. A perfect match. Very happy. Comfortable seating, sturdy and folds up for storage.

This chair looks great, is comfortable to sit in, and is very sturdy and well-made. But it’s damned hard to open. I struggle with it every time. You can’t open it rightside up, you must turn it upside down. Even then, if you don’t get it right, it just won’t budge. Then, when you get it right, it opens fine.

We've had these chairs for over 6 months so I thought I'd review them. We RV. We like our travel trailer, but found the rear dinette to be kind of impractical: uncomfortable cushions, takes up more room than the 2 of us need, and hard to find a good angle for watching TV. So we took it out, added recliners on one side of the rear area, and re-installed the dinette table over against the opposite wall (did I mention that my husband is handy as a pocket on a shirt?) Then we just needed free standing chairs that would collapse and hopefully be comfortable. These babies fit the bill! We can sit at our table to eat, play games or work puzzles, and move to the recliners for TV and general lounging. And they fold up nearly flat for travelling so no worries there. They are every bit as comfortable as any regular dining room chairs we've ever had (and better than some). They are sturdy and well made, easy to fold up, and look great. I took one star off because one chair is pretty stiff to unfold, but I would definitely buy them again.

These are a bit tough to open but look great and are really stable. I love how well they look with my antique table. The simple lines make them work with a wide array of decor.

These chairs are rated for 300 lbs. I'm not convinced of that. They are nice and sturdy and feel solid. 300 lbs is pretty heavy and we won't push that weight or come close to it. A significant improvement over the metal folding chairs we had. We purchased them as additional dining room chairs for holidays. They will work fine for that as well as chairs to play cards. The finish is suppose to be oak. It kind of is. The wood I'm guessing is rubber wood but that's not indicated anywhere. Just stating our observations. Over all I would recommend these chairs for what they are, a nicer chair that will hold up to years of use.

Endlich Klappstühle, die man seinen Gästen auch anbieten mag. Super stabil, praktisch zusammen geklappt und eine Sitzhöhe wir auch bei normalen Esszimmer-Stühlen. Etwas schwer, was aber bei Eiche als Material nicht verwundern sollte.

I needed some chairs to replace the original ones that over the years simply fell apart/warped. I wanted something that I could also store without taking up too much room. These chairs worked well and generally were of acceptable quality. There was only one chair that had a bit of a "visual defect" but it might be just due to the wood. Structually they are fine.

I bought two of these chairs to go with the card table of the same design. The chairs are sturdy and very nice looking. They are both quality products.

Ich suchte für die kleine Küche mit Wandklapptisch Klappstühle in Eiche. Diese sind ideal. Der Klappmechanismus mag das erste Mal etwas überraschend sein, aber es ist einfach, wenn man weiß, wie es geht. Unten auf dem Stuhl ist ein Bild der Anwendung. Mich überzeugt besonders die Stabilität. Nichts wackelt. Auch für schwerere Leute geeignet. Schade nur, dass die Stühle um die Welt gehen mussten, bevor sie bei mir waren - gefertigt in Vietnam, versendet aus den USA über UK nach Deutschland. Dafür ging es schneller als angekündigt.

Beautiful chairs. A great addition to our dinning set for extra company. I definitely recommend for a upgrade from the old folding chairs.
