My 5 yr old grandson loved this
Nice quality, map was a great size and easy to fold. My 7 and 4 year both want same. Spyglass is great, hard to focus but they will catch on.

The perfect set for a pirate-obsessed kid
I am so happy to have found this! My 5 year old love anything pirate adventure so I got him this set for Christmas to use in his playhouse outside. It all seems really well-made and has everything you need for pirate play. Can't wait to give this to him on Christmas!

Spyglass is great, the rest is subpar
Got this set for a pirate-loving kid. The spyglass feels really sturdy and works at longer distances than I expected. It's a very nice item for the price.The map is fine.The compass, however, doesn't consistently point north, which is kind of its only job. I hope this kid isn't planning to use the compass to actually navigate anywhere because they will get lost.Overall still an ok set for the price but the compass should have been the easy part to get right, and it's the weakest link.
