so the hydration pack fits in the inside part near your back, and has a hole to run the tube around your shoulder, or out the bottom, and then there's the zip up back half for storage. It's great to store a few snacks for an after noon hike. seems pretty sturdy and comfortable

Good value for price
I got these for the kids for our summer vacation. Did the job, and good value. If we were serious hikers, I would get one with better /more comfortable straps.
