Jessner Chemical Peel Kit AHA BHA Citric Kojic and Lactic Acid Peel 1.69 oz + Acid Neutralizer For Face 1.69 oz Miami Acid Peeling For Face pH3 [Ane Lumiere]

I ordered this product to use with a peel from another site. I would say an Angel was watching over me and for some reason, my neutralizer came as a pair with a Photo Aging Peel. Surprisingly, it should be the type of peel I need. I have not used it because I want to dodge the sun when I do. The instructions say to use sunscreen and has a time line of continued use. But does not say how long to say out of sun or if you can be in the sun daily. It also does not mention what products to avoid and for how long. After looking at their other products I think they have won me over if not in the long run at least with the options.

If you're using prescription tretinoin products it might be a good idea to stop that for a few days before doing this chemical peel. I have sensitive skin, made even more sensitive by my prescription tretinoin, so my face was especially sensitive to this. It does seem pretty effective for a home peel product.

This product looked and was very promising. I ordered the anti acne peel and unlike a lot of peels on Amazon I actually peeled. I’m debating on getting the 15 percent tca peel because the anti acne peel did wonders.

Most at-home peels are pretty mild. This one was a step above what I’m used to. I did a patch test first and didn’t notice any tingling or burning. Then I applied this to my face, and I started to worry I had made a huge mistake. It tingled like crazy. I left it on about half as long as recommended before using the neutralizer. Then, just to be sure it was all off, I took a shower.My skin feels great now - soft and fresh and not irritated at all. I did my whole face and also extended it down to my neck just on one side. I can feel the difference between the two sides of my neck, even a couple days later. The one side feels a little rough, but the other side is silky smooth and soft.This is not a beginner’s kit. If you’ve got really sensitive skin you should absolutely do a patch test, and make sure to follow the directions. But I’m really happy with the results.

This is designed to be a stronger at home acid peel with a neutralizer. When I used it on my face I could feel the slight sting as it exfoliated. I used the neutralizer and it still stinged a little bit - I was thinking it would stop immediately but I have never used a neurtralizer before so I wasn't sure what to expect. My face did feel a bit softer after this and I did not experience any adverse actions. I think it's pricey but compared to a spa facial it's still way cheaper!

My first impression of the product was not great, as some of what I assume to be the neutralizing agent had spilled all over the bag (see photo of wet instructions). This makes me wonder if there would be enough neutralizer left, or if it would run out before the peeling agent. I’m also pretty displeased with the way that this product was presented. The ingredients are referred to as “professional grade,” but the BACK of both bottles say “professional use only.” The peel liquid is wrapped in what looks like Saran Wrap with scraggly edges.It seems deceptive that the product restrictions were not clear on the listing. There are no photos of the backs of the products at all.

My first chemical peel ever. The acid definitely doesn't feel great, but the neutralizer helped, although I wish it came with more of it. The directions are lacking and could be way more helpful, given that you are dealing with acid. It does have a pretty strong smell, but it eventually goes away. The peel left my skin feeling tight and clean.

This home peel is not for newbies! You’ll want to make sure your skin can handle a decent level of exfoliation. This stuff is great and leaves my skin glowy and vibrant. Very happy and recommend.
