Have had quite a few over the years, but this one is just the best of them all. Got it as a return replacement and am glad I came across this particular one. It is not a ‘rocket science to boil water’ but one can be surprised. This one does it so flawlessly. I am amazed at the esthetics and functionality of this design. In particular it is insulated, never hot to touch, stainless inside a definite +, and so quiet, almost too quiet, but given the fact that my place is an open kitchen/dining/living room space, the quietness of this unit is a huge bonus. I am very particular, not very easy to satisfy, but this is one that has done it. I would recommend it to anyone.

To be fair, I purchased this as an Amazon Warehouse item and it was approximately $18. At that price, I recommend it complete. The positives include: hot water touches only steel and not plastic, it is quite large at 1.7 liters, safer to touch because of the outside plastic area, and heats up rather well. Negatives include: a bit large if you want something small, the lid comes up quiet yet putting it back down has a strong snap sound, and I am not entirely sure the water gets as hot as I would like. It seems to shut off as soon as a boil occurs, but the temp is around 180f when I measured. My last negative point is that if you try to pour the hot water a bit fast, the design of the spout isn't quite as good as many others, and it can splash around.I think this item is well worth it, especially if you have a chance to get it on sale or pick up an Amazon Warehouse item. I opted for the green one because it was by far the cheapest option, yet I am very satisfied with the color and design.The item doesn't say where it is manufactured, but the Amazon page for this item says China, and so I think that is a fair assumption."Made in China"

I got the green because it was the cheapest and I didn't care about color, but I ended up loving the color. It's larger (taller) than I'd expected. It's quiet, heats in a reasonable time, and best of all the water stays hot a long time although the outside of the pot gets only slightly hot. This pot seems sturdier and better quality than pots I've had in the past.

After one week of use, I am satisfied with this kettle.Sturdy, nice appearance, quiet, works fine so far. Lid does not open fully, so may be difficult to clean.

I bought this kettle six months ago and I'm happy with it so much so that I've decided to come back and leave a review for the seller.It's so quiet that you don't even realize if it's switched on or when it's ready. I just can't hear it.It does indeed look very stylish. Another great feature is that the surface doesn't get hot at all. It stays perfectly at room temperature even when the kettle has just boiled water.Overall amazing. I will be buying this brand again.

I had an expensive electric kettle, the one with different settings and all that. It started whistling after a year and I realized I never used any of the settings but boil, and was annoyed every time a got burned by touching it, so I decided to switch to a simple kettle that would be cool to the touch. I’m so happy I got this one. It’s better than my old one in ways I never expected: it boils faster, and it’s so quiet! Plus I can touch it without getting burnt! And for a fraction of the price!! Highly recommended!!!

I bought mine used so I paid 15 instead of the 30+ usual price. I don't know if I would have paid 30+ for this but for 15 and in general this is a pretty good kettle. The base is plastic so yeah it can seem a little wobbly but it's connected just fine. It can get a little loud but I've never had a quiet electric kettle tbh. It's a cute color, accurate to the picture for them light green. It's quick as expected. I haven't double checked it's true capacity but it seems accurate.

Works well, water boils within a few minutes, and stays warm for awhile, but I sip my coffee very slowly so by the time I'm ready for another cup I do hit the button again; it reboils instantly, so that step may not even be necessary.My only disappointment is the discoloration inside and residue build up, but that may be due to hard water in places we travel. The inside seems like aluminum instead of nice stainless steel.
