This is a beautiful book. It is so beautiful my heart missed a beat when I unwrapped the parcel. This was my favourite book of all times when I read it as a little girl and I have now bought it for my six year old granddaughter as a Xmas present . She is a very advanced reader and I am hoping she can read the book by herself although the book is quite heavy and is probably meant for older children. But I can offer to read it with her. It is beautifully illustrated and has a lovely print. The cover is very thick and makes the book look very special. I hope she enjoys it as much as I did and I will report back once I have given it to her. Wonderful purchase !

Beautiful book- lovely quality cover and pages. Great gift for my grandaughter. My daughter was enjoying reading with my grandaughter - but grandaughter has been enjoying it so much she has read on ahead and my daughter is disasppointed that she has missed some!

I was searching for an appropriate book for my granddaughter and luckily found this one. It is a hard bound and beautifully illustrated version of one of my favourites and she is bound to love it.One warning - it is quite heavy, so not suitable for sending abroad as I'd hoped. It will have to fly with me when I go!

I bought this book for a gift for my friends daughter who loves reading. This was a favourite book of mine when I was a child. I was very surprised when it arrived, it was beautifully made, the outer cover was almost padded, it had a lovely feel to it, the illustrations were beautiful and what I liked about it was that it had a tape secured inside for a bookmark.I am thoroughly pleased and satisfied with my purchase, I could not have chosen anything better. A great version of Heidi as it has plenty of coloured pictures throughout the book.

A lovely text with attractive illustrations. Bought for my granddaughter - I hope she loves it as she grows up.
