The Girl on the Train (Not the Emily Blunt Movie) [DVD]

We feel mugged and disappointed by Prime. This was a cynical marketing ploy to catch the unaware into renting or buying this film - knowing the release of a much publicised film with exactly the same title was out this week. We, not knowing there was another film from years ago with the same name, assumed this was the only one - we didn't read the descriptor, just took the title on face value. The film was so bad I fell asleep, and my partner who had read the book was increasingly puzzled by the plot - we'd heard there had been negative reports from some film critics so thought this must be why. I'm a keen Amazon and Prime user but this has left us feeling cheated. I can imagine the marketing departments excitement at the thought of dumping this old film on the market, well done, hope you think it's worth the loss of trust and credibility.

I watched this by mistake, on my fire stick it shows the photo and description for the 2016 the girl on the train. Amazon this made for a very confusing and boring watch

Really good film has plenty twists and turns .

I liked this film, I thought it was clever and thought provoking. My wife thought it was slow and boring.The only let down was the sound quality. Sound quality is often poor in modern films with dialogue drowned out by background noise / music.This was different the dialogue was up and down as the film switched backwards and forwards between past and present.

The idea's ok but the narration got on my nerves.

I did buy this film in error I obviously wasn't paying attention and didn't check I was buying the right version. This is not the 2013 version. Despite that I decided to go with but this film is possibly the worst film I have ever seen and I have sat through all the Sharknado films. Utter tripe!!!

Habe diesen Film nicht aus Versehen gekauft ,sondern im Bewusstsein Henry Ian Cusick ( bekannt als Jesus im Film das Johannis Evangelium, als Desmond in der Serie Lost ,als Marcus Kane in der Serie The 100, als Russel Tyler in Mcgyver und und und ) auch hier die Hauptrolle spielt. Mir als Fan dieses großartigen Schauspielers hat der Film gefallen .

Terrible DVD

Leider habe ich diese DVD aus "Versehen" gekauft. Dieses ist jedenfalls nicht die Verfilmung des Paula Hawkins Romans "Girl on the Train".Ich Weiss nicht ob ich den Film ueberhaupt zu Ende anschaue. Voellig andere Story - extrem langweilig.

Not the one I expected, but it was a good movie and everyone should watch it at least once
