I've tried other teas similar to this one. This one is far the best tasting. I love it I have a cup before bedtime. Keeps things regular.

I love drinking tea, and usually I travel with green tea. I also usually travel with constipation...unfortunate but true.I've been doing everything that I can easily do to avoid or ease travel constipation. I make sure that I have a lot of probiotics in my belly before I leave. I drink a lot of water and eat fiber as I can when away from home. Despite these little things, my restroom breaks are less productive than I like. Then I finally found this tea, tried it, and it works!These teas are not individually wrapped, so I just packed them in a zip-top bag with my wrapped green teas. Recently I was in a hotel without a mini-fridge so I was unable to make the recommended 2 cups tea steeped for 2 minutes. Instead I divided the instructions, and each night before bed I steeped 1 bag in 1 cup hot water for 1 minute. After removing the dieter's tea bag, I infused my green tea, then drank the combination, and went to sleep. The taste was nice, I love lemon and mint. Then each morning I used the bathroom and Dr. Bristol (of Bristol-Meyers Stool Scale fame) would have approved.Finally, after years of traveling, I have solved my travelers' constipation! So far I have only drank this immediately before bed, so I cannot speak to how many hours it needs to work its magic. I will make sure to use this tea before traveling also, to avoid bloat that I often experience with flying. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys regular bowel movements.

I have used this tea for years and it has been very helpful in keeping me regular. It contains a small amount of Senna, which is a natural laxative used back in olden times for relief of constipation. I drink one cup with one tea bag a day and it has worked for me. It doesn't have a great taste to it and it's not a tea you would want to drink 3 or 4 times a day. I don't like to take harsh laxatives and use all of the different ones they have on the market. This is more natural and that's what I prefer. It is called Dieter's tea because it does help you lose weight because of it's laxative effect. I highly recommend it for those who do have problems with constipation.

I don't know about dieting, but this works if you want to keep things regular. It will get things moving, if you know what I mean. Not to put too fine a point on it, but this stuff will make you poop. If you, like me, suffer from sluggishness, get this instead of the same thing from a natural foods store that will cost you three times as much. I don't think I'd recommend this for dieting, however. Yeah you maybe could lose some weight by crapping extra, but it would sure be uncomfortable. The results with this stuff can be... dramatic.P.S. I have no idea why Amazon is asking me to rate this for 'sheerness.' It's tea.
