It has metal in it, and they are sharp so wear gloves when handing because it will give you splinters, also I have seen negative reviews regarding the item exploding or coming out the opposite end, I have used this many times so what I will say is make sure you cut the end of the canister as close as possible to the threads as this will all it to flow out at a better rate which should eliminate it coming out from the other end.Does it work in preventing mice? Only time will tell

Whilst I have rated this product 4 stars it is not what I was expecting. I was initially searching for expanding foam and bought this product. This is a gap filler and good for small gaps (under 1cm). It has come in useful to fill gaps around radiators, pipes and cables in to the house.

I brought this product a few months back and recently brought it again there is a vast difference in texture and silicone there is more silicon than wire fibres in this one and extremely soft like vaseline. The first lot was thicker and more fibrous. This was one did explode at the bottom the first two did not. Very disappointed I. Product this time round.

Seems good but did find it a bit hard to get it out of the tube with a silicone gun.

I used this product to seal a mice intrusion holes in my kitchen. Used a swollen steel for more support and so far it has stopped the mice coming back. Very pleased.

Bought this to use with outside covers to stop mice entering has been effective. I would definitely recommend if you have rodent problems.
