Broken Elf King

Loved it. Bit too short, would loved it if the author took a bit more time and wrote a bigger book

I liked the story behind this book and the characters. It’s an easy light read suitable for your adults. It has a little sizzle but not full on.

The copy I originally bought from a store in Australia I found out later was misprinted & had multiple errors & 48 pages missing. THIS COPY PERFECT!!

Every book gets better and better. Kailani is sold to a slave trader for a debt she incurred getting medicine for her sick aunt. She sent to the palace of the elf king, Raife. This king is stressed to the max. His family was murdered as a child and he’s spent his life seeking revenge. Lani is his new assistant and the tension between them from the very beginning is delicious. He’s supposed to take a wife before his council members will allow him to declare war on the Queen who not only is torturing all his friends but took his family from him. After a Bachelor style arrangement to find himself a bride none of the women are up to his standards so Lani agrees to a fake marriage. Until it isn’t so fake anymore.The world building is beautiful and every one of these books flows so wonderfully into the next. Lani is a strong woman and Raife is broken but the growth from these two is amazing and I love this world so much! On to the next book!

I couldn’t wait for this book to come in and it was read within a week!!! I couldn’t put it down and I love the story lines!!! I highly recommend this series if you like magical anything!!! I’m so happy to have added this to my collection and can’t wait to get the third book!!!
