I bought these on a whim when looking at a second pair of my Ariat Spit Fire I wear currently for work.I wear these for work and travel. They are true to the fit. Well made and stylish.There are only 2 negatives I can see with them that folks may find an issue with. On the inside where the leather comes together is on the outside ball of your big toe region. This may cause someone with wider feet or gout discomfort until you get them broken in.I recommend if you have wide feet you size up by a half size to provide a little extra comfort. I started with a 10.5 Wide like my Spit Fire. They fit as expected but the above mentioned seam where the shoe / boot comes together on the inside on the big toe region was a little to tight for my comfort. After shifting to a size up to an 11 that issue was resolved and the distance for my toes to the edge of the footbed wasnt overly egregious.Very happy with the price and quality of these shoes by Ariat.They required no break in period with the soles or overall feel for stiffness.Again if you have wide feet recommend you shift up a half size in your normal size in wide and you should be good to go.

I typically buy 9.5 but if I the Wide is available, I order a 9 wide. These shoes are amazing. It’s like walking on clouds. They are durable, you can dress them up or down.

I’m a farmer and wear leather boots most of the time. I want something boot-like but more comfortable for tasks that didn’t require tough boots. They are very comfortable for tractor and truck driving, and tall enough to keep grass and dirt out of my socks. 4 out of 5 stars because I haven’t had them long enough to test durability and longevity.

I bought and returned 3 pair before I went with Wide. These run narrow. Yes, they probably would have stretched in time, but I’ve got some neuropathy. My measured size is 9. I wear 10.5 in Merrell. I am happy with 10.5 W in these.These are the crepe sole chukkas you’re looking for; like the Hush Puppies of the 70’s with a little more style. Super comfortable.

I bought these for myself beacuse I loved the look of them. I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 in womens. These being mens 7.5 were still just a little tight on me. Just a warning that they run a little small.

They fit well and are true to size. They are comfortable and the soles are very shock absorbing. You can wear them all day and hardly know you had shoes on. They are well made and will last a long time.

Awesome quality that I have come to expect from Ariat.So comfortable. I just put them on and sat down in my couch to write Themis review and I think I’m going to keep them on while I sleep. lol jj but seriously they are outstanding footwear.
