Use this on my Sony A7iii to attach to battery on my rig (Came-TV Mini V Mount Battery 99Wh) for power and it works great!

Worked fine for about 1 minute then afterwards the camera came up with a message that the battery was not compatible.It seemed like a great product and I like the status light on the side but at this point I don't know what to do.Camera used Sony A7IV.**UPDATE*The seller reached out to me and sent me a replacement unit. And it seems as though I got a faulty copy with a decoding problem.But all seems well now and I can happily move to a V-lock rig.

As a cinematographer I tend to switch between different cameras for different types of work. However, I don't really want a rig for each, and powering my rig is usually done with vlock batteries (with dtap).This adapter let's me connect my Sony to my existing rig and gives me oodles of power. Tested through a splitter as well with no issues.Love the light to let me know the power is flowing, and if you plug in upside down, it turns red - nice and useful touch

only the green light was turning on when I inserted the D Tap end into my battery but the dummy battery failed to turn on the camera. Tried it on 2 different sony cameras and the same result. I returned it and bought the cheaper Fotga dummy battery and it worked like a charmUPDATE:++++++++++++After the supplier read my review, they reached out promptly and suggested sending a second unit at no additional cost. I received the second unit which works perfectly and so I have now changed my review to a 4. It can not be 5 since this is a replacement.

I purchased this dummy battery so I can run a v mount battery to power my camera rig. Not only do I look cool but I feel confident because I look cool lol. Not only that but it does give me confidence knowing that I'll have power for a long time and I wont have to keep swapping out batteries on my A7III

After buying other brands and having them likely fry my Sony A7sIII 's mother board, I found ZITAY. I am using 4 of these at the moment - main rig, gimbal rig, home rig and vlogging rig. Love them so much
