Put part on stove 3 days ago. So far so good. Part fit perfect. Stove light no longer staying on when stove is off. Seems to be of good quality. Was not expensive. No problems with shipping.

Two of the stove eyes on my stove would turn red hot no matter which setting they were on, I searched and found this part needed to be replaced and saw this one was the most affordable. Switching out the parts was simple and they seem to be working well as of now, I will update if anything changes but fingers crossed I won't have to.

Exact replacement... burner seems to be working well so far. Replaced original because temperature was no longer controllable. Will update if part fails.

The "Burner On" light would not turn off on my stove even when the knob was clicked into the OFF position. A google search suggested that it could have been the burner control switch failing. It was apparent which one was bad since we primarily only use the large burner on the front right like 99.999% of the human race. The part was a direct replacement and installed without issue. After replacement, the light functions as normal.

The switch was easy to install and only took 10 minutes. The burner is now working well so it was well worth the price.

The most difficult part of this install was cleaning the floor under the oven. I actually spent more time rounding up the tools. Takes a 1/4 inch nut driver and a Phillips screw driver. Just be sure to unplug the oven first.

I have a Moffat brand stove (a GE brand) that is probably about 20 years old. The model number is: MCBS522 K1WW. It was manufactured in Mexico. The large, 8", burner started to get glitchy. Sometimes it wouldn't turn on at all, and sometimes it would heat to max power regardless of what the temperature setting was. It also made a soft buzzing sound sometimes. A bit of research left me pretty convinced the problem was the burner's switch. I was a bit nervous about ordering this, as I wasn't positive it would work with my old Moffat stove. Based on pictures it looked the same as the switch that was in my stove, so I took the chance. Very relieved to find out it works perfectly. Installation was extremely easy. The two screws that were used to secure the old switch fit this switch, and even the old knob fits on this switch perfectly (the end of the shaft has a shape similar to the number 8). As I removed the five wires on the old switch, one at a time, I put them on the corresponding connectors of the new switch. Then I tried turning it off and on a couple times and it worked like a charm. Very glad I took the chance on this instead of hiring someone to fix the stove or buying a new one! Hope the stove can now be used for many more years.

Great price for an OEM part (apparently the same supplier GE uses). Easy install, the only discrepancy between the original part, and this replacement was the post for the knob. There is probably a kit for this, I just used a dremel on the inside of my existing knob to correct this. Best thing... I have all 4 burners working again.
