I have a south west facing bedroom with a large window. The blackout curtains weren't enough with too much light leaking in and waking me up with the dawn.These blinds used in addition to the curtains are really good. We now have almost total darkness and are sleeping much more soundly and not waking with the dawn.They were very easy to fit. Just needed some careful measuring. The fabric is thick and good quality but was easy to cut with sharp scissors. You leave the raw edge and it still looks reasonably neat.The suction cups have velcro on the back, and one side of the fabric is felt-like and sticks to the velcro. It also comes with self adhesive velcro tabs you can stick to the window frame.I used the suction cups on night one, but put the sticky pads on the UPVC frame for night two - because with the suction cups there was more light leaking in around the edges because you couldn't get such a tight fit.They're quick and easy to put up and down, so you can take them down during the day if you wish.The photos were taken on a bright sunny evening. One with a flash, one without - and the curtains are open in both.Definitely recommended if you don't want to fit a roller blind, and want something portable that you could take on holiday with you too.

This is exactly what I wanted and the quality is amazing. Keeps the sun out but also good for the middle of summer as it helps to keep the heat down with it being cream and not black like so many of other products

I was unsure if this would be successful as its description is for a window blind but I wanted to use it as a full length door blind. I'm very pleased to say it works very well and having put it up just before this cold spell has proved it was worth every penny.

I've used these blinds for about 10 years now I'm on my third purchase just because I've moved house. Change of window size etc. I've tried many different options and these are absolutely fantastic and designed by a lovely bunch of people. I have no affiliation to them other than as a customer but I really have returned to them with great confidence in their product very thankful for it. It has helped a very difficult and long health journey to give me a good sleep at night or at least help towards it whilst protecting the glass from heat that the other ones generate. It keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. They're the only things that I've found that really block out truly all the light or 99.99%. Simple but effective and well put together. I bought 2 of these for our spare room for when visitors stay. No matter how many suckers I use one blind constantly falls down during the night.

This has really helped me to sleep better. It blocks out most light. I used the suction cups directly onto the window. These look ugly but work quite well. A couple have fallen off and had to be stuck on again and are less effective now, but this was because the window was wet with condensation after some very cold nights. It's essentially a piece of material and some sunction cups so I don't think its great value for money but it is organic cotton and it does fufil it's purpose well. It was easy to cut up to make it fit the window.

Letztlich handelt es sich hier um nichts anderes, als ein riesiges Moltontuch, das man mit Saugnäpfen an einer Fensterscheibe befestigen kann.Wir haben es benutzt, um ein Schlafzimmer während einer andauernden Renovierung zu verdunkeln. Das funktionierte bedingt...Wenn man viele der mitgelieferten Saugnäpfe benutzt, dann hält diese Notlösung wohl auch eine ganze Nacht lang, meist aber lösen sich ein paar der Biester. Recht schwierig allerdings, das Tuch in benötigter Größe zurecht zu schneiden... Schneidet man das Moltongewebe mit normaler Schere, dann lösen sich nämlich Fäden aus dem Gewebe. Mit einer Zickzack-Schere lässt sich das vermeiden.Bei uns wurden die neuen Verdunklungsvorhänge glücklicherweise nach 10 Tagen montiert und dieses Provisorium wanderte danach sofort in den Müll.
