I researched many lotion application products before selecting this one. I gave one as a gift to my 90 year old mother 11 months ago and she RAVES about it! You just put lotion on the application pad and rub it on your back. My mother says it is so easy to use. Even though her arms and shoulders are motion impaired, she can easily reach all areas of her back. She is able to reach every area of her back when using it from the top down or the bottom up. It has just the right amount of stiffness and does not scratch her paper thin delicate skin, or hurt her in any way. It is very sturdy. It wipes clean easily and she stores it under the sink in the draw string material bag that it comes in. She has been using it for 11 months, multiple times per week. It has held up well and is still in perfect condition and works just as good as the day I gave it to her. Since the applicator has proven to work so well and be of such good quality, I purchased a second one to give as a gift to a different relative who has difficulty applying lotion to her back. I think this product is perfect for anyone who lives alone or doesn't have someone readily available to help them apply lotion to their back.
