literally my favorite boots i own
ignore the ghetto pictures lol but these are SO NICE and so comfortable. i don’t even think i’ll need to break them in at all. you can definitely smell the real leather as soon as you open the box. i’m a size 8 with pretty normal to narrow feet and these fit very true to size for me. super easy to get on and off. you might not be able to see, but there were some scuffs on one boot but not on the other, however i’m really not worried about that because i figure it comes from them moving in the box during delivery, and i am planning on conditioning them up anyway which should help. (in case anyone reading this doesn’t know, that’s what you’re supposed to do with leather anyway so if you’re planning on ordering these, get the ariat boot conditioner)

The best boots I've ever owned
I love these boots! I used to have the brown leather years ago, but I just bought the black deertan. Right away I noticed these are a softer leather than the brown, and they were immediately very comfortable. They have great arch support, the heel is the perfect height, and the leather is high quality. They were a bit tight when I first got them, but all I did was put on some thick socks and used a hair dryer to heat up and stretch the leather and wore them for a few hours around the house to let them mold to my feet. Just be careful not to damage the leather and to condition them well after. It worked great and now my boots fit perfectly.I'm only 5ft 1in, so sometimes boots are a little too high for me and I look like my legs are being swallowed up. But these are only 11in tall, so they only go up about halfway on my calves, which is perfect! The embroidery on the side is beautiful and adds the perfect amount of elegance to these reliable boots. They're not too heavy so they're comfortable to wear all day and everyday. I'm sure once these wear out like my old ones I will definitely buy another pair! These are the best boots I've ever owned!

LOVE EM!!! Plain and simple!
These are my first pair of cowboy boots ever so I was a little worried about possibly not liking the fit or look of them, however I was pleasantly surprised!QUALITY:The boots are great quality and are made very well. It is obvious from the quality of the boots themselves and their pristine packaging that the company takes great pride in their product. The boots are wrapped individually in plastic and a boot tree made of cardboard and paper is inserted inside each boot to preserve their form during shipping.LOOK/COMFORT:The boots are very cute and also very comfortable! They look great with jeans or even with shorts or skirts. Since this is my first pair of boots I was a bit worried that they would be uncomfortable, but I just put them to a very good test this past weekend by walking all around the French Quarter in New Orleans for a day. I wore them literally from about 9 AM until just past midnight when we got back to our hotel room and my feet did not hurt at all. Anyone who has been to New Orleans' French Quarter knows you'll do a lot of walking there and the streets aren't always the nicest but these boots held up great and left my tootsies feeling just fine!SIZING:As other reviewers have mentioned the sizes do run a little big so order about a half size down from what you normally wear. I normally wear either a 9.5W or 10W depending on the shoe. I originally ordered a 9.5W and it was a bit too long, but the width was good so I exchanged them for a 9W and they fit great! Just for general purposes, I'm including this link on how to properly fit a cowboy boot since it's a little bit different in some respects than fitting a regular shoe and it may help you when deciding what size to order. [...]Overall, these boots are great quality, super cute and very comfortable! I love them and look for every opportunity to wear them. Order a half size smaller than your normal shoe size and you should good.

Plus size girl, Flatfoot boot purchase
I gave these boots four stars I would give 4 1/2 stars but the app doesn’t let you do that. I feel that for the price of the boot and the uncovered stitch seam it’s a bit pricey but I guess we are paying for the brand name. For reference I am 5 foot 1.5 feet tall. I weigh exactly 200 pounds and my calves circumference at the thickest part is almost 16 inches round. I’ve included photos showing me measuring my calf so bigger girls can see and my body shape, especially my legs. I also included pictures of my feet to show that I have a true flatfoot that is a little bit wider, like Flintstone feet lol.. I purchased 8.5 wide per the suggestion from the brand. I tried them on without socks straight from the box. I have room, but I feel that it’s due to not having any socks on, I’m sure once I have socks on they’ll fit a little bit more snuggly but not tight. My only issue is my left ankle, Towards the back of my left ankle bone part, the seam stitching from inside the boot (which I’ve included pictures to show what I’m talking about) is rubbing, but it’s not doing it on my right foot. so I think it’s just that my bone sticks out more on my left foot in that area. It’s not enough to discourage me or make me want to return the boot at this time. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase. I will be keeping these boots. I purchased these boots for a Lainey Wilson concert that I just got tickets to for later this year. I was super excited and wanted to jump in now and get boots so that they’d be broken in and ready for the concert! Overall at this time I’m very happy with my purchase. I am still losing weight, so it’s extremely hard for me to find shoes at the moment because the size I wore when I was heavier, I can no longer fit into, but my calves are still a little bigger than I guess the average size women calf, so I still need them to be a little bit bigger in the calf area and boots at torrid are way too big around the calves for me and they don’t make a smaller size calf so getting boots has been a real challenge. I’ve already lost 60 pounds so I’m not really discouraged by the slight snugness around the calf area, I included a picture of me putting my hand in the top of the boot to show that I still have room so it’s not really that tight. My concert is in August. I’m sure by then I’ll have lost more weight and I’ll have more room around my calves. I’m excited to finally own a pair of cute boots in black. I’ll try to figure out something to help with my left ankle bone and the rubbing that the uncovered stitch seam on the inside of the boot is causing. The bottom of the boot is not slippery at all. I hope my lengthy review and all my photos help in your purchasing decision.🙂🙂
