Great Repair, Fantastic Results
I was a bit sceptical as to whether this was going to do a good job or not but decided for £23 it was worth a try. I had three chips of various sizes on the corner edges of my black granite worktops and also a few other chips on the flat work surfaces area. I tackled the largest chip first, which measured approx 1 cm x 7mm x 4mm depth and managed to do a flawless repair in one go with 10 minutes curing time with the light supplied. If you didn’t know where it was, you wouldn’t be able to spot the repair. Even when you know where to look, it doesn’t look like a repair at all. It’s fantastic! I then did the others with similar success. One or two needed a second go at it to perfect it, especially those on corners where you need to fill both horizontal and vertical sides. This kit is so easy to use. Once the light was on it, I carried on with other jobs around the kitchen while it was curing ‘cause there is nothing worse that watching something and waiting for the time to pass before you can continue with the next stage! I went round my whole kitchen looking for little imperfections that I can work my magic on. It is a very satisfying job to do and I am very pleased with the results. I did find that the polishing head on a dremel tool with the polishing cream supplied in this kit did produce a better finish than just with the cream & cloth alone. Was definitely money well spent!

Tricky but good results
As previous reviewers have said, it is tricky to use, but I got good results in the end. I had some cracks in my my granite workspace, with some quite deep sections where bits had come out, so I layered those. It takes a long time because you can only shine the light on 1cm at a time, and at one point, as a reviewer said, the filler came out when I pulled away the curing strip. Next time I pulled it off more slowly and earlier, while it was still tacky, then laid it back on more loosely to finish curing. The result(after sanding) is shiny and blends in really well with the surface, so I'm glad I persevered.

Excellent product
The chips pictured had already been glued back into place, but looked awful and had bits missing. My kit came with a battery powered light. The instructions were clear and it worked well. I was super impressed that the sandpaper included did not scratch the quartz. However, the kit was missing a stand and tip for the tube (mentioned in the information), almost lost a point for that but the product was so good that I changed my mind.Let the before and after photos do the talking, 99% perfect.

if I can do this, anyone can do this - very handy little repair
I bought this kit in black because I’d had an outrageous £150 quote to repair a sizable chip in my granite composite worktop. Some bright spark had decided to open a beer bottle using the side edge.Whilst I’m not the world’s best at DIY the kit was practically fool proof. The curing times took slightly longer than the five minutes stated, but my particular chip was quite deep so I approached it in several layers. For that reason, I would’ve appreciated slightly more sanding paper as the tiny squares weren’t quite enough and the curing strip was quite thin. Everything was provided in the kit it was very user-friendly and I’m delighted with the repair which you can only see if you knew where to look for it.

Good but not great
I had two chips out of a bathroom marble countertop. First one filled and cured quiet well. It needed a touch up the day after, a small further application was required. This application would not adhere to the previous nor would it cure. Second chip would not cure at all. I think the mini blue light LED was past its best by this point.Could be very good but just fell short of the mark for me.

If you are patient, this does what it claims
I used this product to repair a shallow half inch wide chip on the edge of a flecked black granite kitchen surface. The liquid resin went easily into the damaged area but you have to be careful to avoid it sagging if the surface is vertical. I found it helped to fill a small bit and then cure it with the UV curing light before moving on to deal with the adjacent bit and so on. The clear plastic strip does help push the resin into the chip and to make the eventual surface flat. It took me a minute to work out the little switch on the UV curing light but after that it worked well and I could switch the light on and off at will. I found it important to position the light right up close to the resin. If you position it a bit away it takes much, much longer to work. It's a good idea, if you find the resin setting proud of the desired level or sagging from a vertical chip, to use a craft knife or similar to trim the resin before trying to sand it down. Sanding takes quite a while but is worth the effort. After sanding and polishing with the abrasive polish provided the eventual surface was a good match for my worktop - deep black and shiny - although of course it does not reproduce the flecking. It is hard to tell there was ever any damage.

Took hours
I have finally made a repair but not overly pleased. Took me about 3 weeks to complete a penny-sized damage. Despite doing tiny amounts took hours to harden. Ultraviolet light ran out had to buy a replacement which was better. Curing tape supplied is minimal and I couldn't find it in pack for ages. I wouldn't buy this again
