Works well, needs a lot of effort
This device does what it's supposed to do. I had to rake out very dirty old bathroom floor grouting and it was VERY hard work. However the large soft hand grip is good on the hand, and the blade 'did the job'. HOWEVER I'm never going to to do it by hand again! I eventually unbolted the blade and managed to drill and bolt it on to one of my mains operated multi tool blades which worked really well and was much easier!

Nice and sturdy
Works really well, it has a good sturdy handle and the blade does a good job or removing the grouting, I can't report on how long the blade lasts as it has not had enough working yet. but so far so good.

Great tool and really helps tidy things up
Love this. Clearing out grout with a hammer and small screwdriver (beats the purpose dremel attachment I bough that burnt out the tip). This tool was a great follow up on my wetroom floor. Thin enough for a small joint and really devours the grout. I used this on around 6m of grout lines to mainly tidy up after knocking out the big stuff. I’m probably due a new rake blade now as the front is showing quite a bit of wear.

Hmmmm not sure about this!
I haven’t used one of these before and was expecting greater things. It’s sturdy for sure, but it doesn’t make much of an inroad on the old grout. It produces a very fine powder, very very slowly, and with a huge amount of elbow grease. It would take forever and a day to get all the grout out. Luckily I was only repairing a section. No idea if others are easier to use, but personally wasn’t very impressed with this. Maybe I was doing it wrong?!

It does the job well but care needed as it will scratch your tiles if it slips - the voice of experience!

Excellent
Excellent and good price. Removed the grout from my tiles effortlessly. Be careful when you start, to make sure you stay on the grout line. If you slip onto the tiles, they will scratch them. I recommend that you score the grout first with a Stanley knife or similar
