The paper is easy enough to fold. The width is thin, so it makes a fairly small star that is challenging to pinch into the star shape. My only complaint is that the ink wears off onto fingers and doesn’t easily wash away. Still good for the money.

This paper is outstanding! Perfect for folding stars! Before this, I had been using construction paper to fold my lucky stars, cutting it into strips. In fact, I think the construction paper was more expensive. I was breaking my fingers on the construction paper, so I decided to try this. It is so much easier and organized! The paper is thin, so it is easy to fold. Not to mention how vibrant the variety of colors are!The thing that blew me away was how organized this came. I was expecting it to be a pack of loose strips of paper, but the colors came individually wrapped in easy-to-manage quantities (roughly half-inch tall bundles). Not only that, but they are held together at one end like a note pad! Not the sticky kind, but a classic note pad. It leaves no trace on the paper, but keeps them held together firmly! Thanks to this, I'm able to easily take it wherever I need! If I run out, I'll definitely be buying this again!

folded stars many years ago and was provided a actual size picture of what the initial fold looked like that was needed. you could lay your paper down on it - passed the contents on to a child who wanted to try making them. decided to try again, while the amount of paper is awesome - the little picture on the packages of tape is of no help. will continue to check on out favorite forum for help.

This paper is a little thicker than the other stars paper I have making it easier to fold and crease for a newbie and the paper and glitter look great. I also love the way it's packaged which makes it easy to tear off the colors I want and throw the rest in a bag en masse. Very happy.

I learned to make paper stars about a week before buying these. They come with great color variety and plenty of paper in each color. Each one comes in its own plastic packaging, which can be a bit tedious to open and close if you're alternating colors - I ended up opening all of them and putting them in a drawer together.The paper quality isn't the best - it's essentially dyed printer paper, but thinner. It can be easily ripped, but it's also easy to fold as a result. The only issue is that if you fold it incorrectly, it's much harder to fix. Also, some of the paper seems to be a slightly different type of paper - possibly thicker? It doesn't affect the folding or the finished result, though. I repurchased these for a friend who I introduced to star origami and apparently she received different colors than me. So be aware that you will definitely get a wide variety (no repeats, as far as I know), but you may lack certain colors.Overall, I like them! The quality is what you'd expect for the price, but they work just as intended and they look really nice in a jar on my desk.

Great for the price. Convenient to have all of the strips of paper pre-cut, and there are lots of different colors.So why not 5 stars? These are made of slightly thinner paper than typical printer paper---these strips of paper are just barely sturdy enough to fold. Any thinner and they definitely wouldn't work.Each color comes individually wrapped, and each stack is connected at the top, kind of like a pad of writing paper or a pad of sticky notes. This packaging is a bit irritating (and a waste of plastic) but it doesn't interfere with the actual folding once you have your paper strips.I got these for teaching a large group of teens how to make paper stars, so they worked fine for that. The kids liked having a lot of colors to choose from.

I enjoy really only 20 colors that were given and unfortunately there are about 6 different shades of yellow and orange, but only one red? The paper quality is average and if you're not used to making the stars, the paper easily gets soft and isn't crisp for pointy stars.
