Hi there, I am assuming you have blonde hair and amla added to cassia can give a more wheat blonde than yellow blonde hair color, amla will tone down the yellow in cassia but both are great conditioners

Hi there You can try cassia obovata powder (although you may need more than one application to make it darker as it will impart a very light yellow color on hair). A small amount of Shikakai powder can be added to deepen the color. Henna can also be added to cassia but if doing this, need to be very cautious as only a minute amount is needed to add to cassia as henna is very dominant so an approximation would be 99.9% cassia and 0.1% henna, otherwise you could end up with strawberry blonde. You can mix cassia with chamomile tea and lemon juice (can leave out lemon juice as it can have a drying effect on hair but does help with dye release) and leave to stand for a few hours to get dye release although not necessary. Also if you can get rhubarb root you can add this to cassia to get a darker blonde. Would be best to test on hair harvested from brush to prevent unwanted color.
