Having been a once long term owner of a Magimix, I was tempted to buy another machine until it occurred that this attachment would suit our needs at a much lower cost. So, quite well constructed but clearly needs some careful handling to avoid fracturing the all plastic assembly. A separate drive shaft must be purchased and I got mine for £8 on eBay. The driving mechanism is not particularly well designed with a lot play producing a noisy performance, but it does the job. The bowl is quite small but large enough for 2 person type preparations. Like all bowls of this type, it is not difficult to clean but had nooks and crannies to clean and wipe. The blade/knife is small and of thin construction with a shortish honed edge. I suspect it will need resharpening after a few months use. So, in short, quite good value for money, but you may wish to spend the same total £4ish on a cheap processor but, as they say, you get what you pay for!

This product is expensive for what it is. it topples over , when you remove the bowl. it is lightweight. I wish id bought the more expensive one and not wasted my money on a lightweight flimsy model. It's fine for small batches of fairy cakes but pretty inadequate for Christmas cake (when you want some help with mixing!!) sadly I'm really disappointed.
