I bought this to repair some gemstone bracelets whose elastic had broken. I went for this size as it is a bit thicker and fits perfectly through the 1mm holes with just enough clearance. It took a while to arrive because it comes from China, but it was delivered within the estimated time so no complaints. It is very clear (no discolouration), has a solid circular cross-section (see pic) and seems very good quality.Remember to cut it longer than needed and tie it to something to keep it half stretched (don't over stretch) for a day or too before use to allow the new elastic to relax. If you don't pre-stretch it and you cut it to the right length and use it to make a bracelet straight away, as with all elastic, it will go slacker after a few days wear.Tying a knot that won't come undone is a bit tricky. I found that tying two Surgeon's knots nice and tight did the trick. This is like a Reef knot but with an extra turn for more grip. See pic. You can always hide a fairly big knot with a silver crimp bead.Very pleased. Great value. Would buy again.

Brilliant product. very easy to use. Great value for money

I bought this to repair a bracelet that snapped. I chose this size as a guess and it threaded perfectly! I was amazed at how quickly it arrived saying it had journeyed from China (about 18 days before the suggested date of arrival). It was well packaged and is very good quality.It was easy to thread the stones however tying the knot at the end proved more difficult than I expected. My first attempt loosened very quickly and many of the gems fell to the floor. Although I tied a 'Surgeon's Knot' twice it didn't hold. The second time I added some glue and that work a treat.Overall an excellent product to keep handy for any other bracelets/necklaces that snap!

I bought this as one of my bracelet broken, it does the job and is tough but compare to my broken string I think they are not stretchy enough, but is ok for the job

Ce fil élastique transparent de 0,8 mm paraît de bonne qualité et résistant mais avec un gros problème pour le dérouler. De très mauvaise fabrication lors de son enroulement car emmêlé à plusieurs endroits et il se déroule anormalement par le dessous en se coinçant donc très difficilement utilisable. Je vais devoir le couper souvent et fatalement en perdre beaucoup. Problème identique sur les 2 bobines que j'ai achetées. Livraison bien avant les délais annoncés par Clest F&H.

Fil très solide et pratique pour la confection de bracelets ou colliers en perles. Je n'ai pas encore trouvé un moyen sûr de fermeture pour ne pas que le nœud se défasse cependant
