When I decided that I was finally going to buy one of these little cameras, I spent hours looking at all the various options. I finally settled on the 16’ version of this camera. I’m very pleased with my purchase. I wanted a camera primarily to look within my walls and stud cavities for running low voltage cabling. I'm not an ace with a fish tape, and this lets me find existing holes and obstructions. This works really well for that purpose, and in multiple (long) sessions it has been thoroughly reliable and satisfying to use. The camera focuses nicely from about 1 inch to infinity. The resolution and lighting are excellent (and the light level is adjustable). The side cameras are far more useful that I expected, and on my first use of the camera revealed something (a corrugated gas line) that I otherwise would have missed. I like the fact that I don’t have to tie-up my phone to use the camera. The flexibility/stiffness of the cable seems to be “just right”. Bottom line: this is a good, solid, choice. Nice unit. Easy to use. Highly recommended.

Aside form my Drs office, I don't know a whole lot about endoscope's but this one was recommended by another generator repair technician. (JC) With this DEPSTECH DS520 Tripple lens +16ft cable, I didn't need to know anything. It's easier to use than most of the cell phones I've owned. 1 forward camera, 1 side camera & 1 side camera that has an extremely close up view, that is you can get really close to the object with one of the side cams (see valve seat damage). I love the 1080 clarity and 5in screen. I haven't used any of the probe attachments, other than the protective cap, yet but have use it to scope out this generator engine with a broken valve, saving me several hours in disassembly, inspection and sitting around waiting for parts to come in while the generator takes up valuable shop & workbench space. Just used it again today in a fuel tank to find the fuel level gauge in pieces & using my old 4 fingered grabber, got them all out. Another few hours saved by not having to remove the tank and shake the pieces out. LoL. It easily interfaces with my computer, laptop as well as my phone & tablet with an adapter (dongle?) Although videos didn't work on the phone but I'm sure "it's not you, it's me" applies here, not a scope issue. Like I said, it's easier to use than my phone. LoL. I'll have to figure that out later. Also enough room in the case for MY charger, dongle & a their second shorter cord if so desired I'm sure. Hint/Tip: Charge it fully before first use, it may take a while that first time. Make sure the Camera Attachment Plug is securely in. (They were kind enough to send me an email reminding me of that) *Note: I wish there was an added screen protector, like for phones. I just worry about scratching it since all my engines have very tight spaces, very sharp corners, usually rounded tops. MrB Repairs. ** 1 month update: I didn't think I would be using this Scope as much as I do. Also Great for close-up belt inspection, underside of riding mower decks & around transmissions for a quick "Look-see". As well as down the old trucks defrost vent to remove an old pen that's prevented the defroster/vent selector from working right from the day I bought the old truck.

Though advertised as a sewer inspection camera, I use it for inspecting welds in pipe/tubing. All in all, it works great for that, with some limitations. Picture quality is quite good, even though it can be a little difficult to get a good view in focus, sometimes. Again, this is not the camera's intended purpose, so no fault there. The side views are a great bonus, and the lighting works surprisingly well, compared to some other cameras I've tried. The cable is rigid enough to push the whole length through a pipe, even with a couple of bends--just be mindful of the radius. In a sewer line, I suppose this won't be a problem. The screen works quite well, although I've only tried it indoors, and not in bright sunlight. The included micro SD card is adequate, but you may prefer it different capacity card, or just a different brand. That said, you can easily download pictured from the camera with the included cable, or simply remove the card to download the pictures. The cable makes it easy to charge the camera, although I haven't taken the time to check how long it takes to fully charge, nor how long the charge lasts while using the camera--I use it for short periods, about 30 mins at a time. Bottom line - for DIYers, or even limited professional use, it's a good camera for the price. It's worked well from 3/4" - 4" stainless tubing, and even running it behind a wall, or two. I imagine it'll do just fine in a drain or vent pipe at home, or just to inspect behind walls, or other things. The only downside that I can think of is that it can be cumbersome to store in the included case, so don't unroll the whole 50' if it's not needed. Unroll the length you need, and keep the rest coiled tight with the included straps. Maybe get some extra velcro straps to secure the rest, when you coil the cable to store it.

So I purchased this amazing endoscope triple lens with split screen features and a carrying case. I was looking for something with a greater camera viewing versatility and higher quality without an high price tag. This 1080p high definition 5” screen not only displays images in detailed, but the 8+2 LED lights provide greater visibility in dark tight spaces. This came in handy when my godchild was experiencing some automotive issues, while allowing me to show her video + pictures of my findings. Her car kept displaying an engine light on and this tool allowed me to further diagnose the bad exhaust oxygen CO2 sensor that needed replacement. While showing her real-time video of her automotive catalytic converter and the valves condition as well. She was amazed at the detailed and simplicity of this endoscope, that she wanted to use it herself. As you can see from the pictures below, I was able to show my godchild the condition of her catalytic converter and go inside each cylinder. This allowed me to record and take pictures for her. This is a must have tool for any DIYer or professionals. Not only does it allow you to see things that virtually would be impossible, but also show what you discovered in clarity. This was 100% worth the money and can see that this was built to last.

This ia a revised review for two important reasons. First the vendor, DEPSTECH followed up on my original 3 star review with a genuine offer to make things right. I appreciate that because many Amazon vendors simply ignore review comments or post a canned suggestion tha the buyer should call the company and to discuss the concern. The all in one hand unit has a good HD IPSdisplay and both the push buttons and on screen menu and settings are easy to understand (for those of us who do not always read the included instructions). The camera cable connects via a USB3 plug, that "snaps" in with a positive lock and does not randomly disconnect as sometimes happens with USBC connectors. The kit includes a USB C cable for charging or for downloading still images or video you might take while using the unit. The hand box accepts and can formt up to a 32GB TF card. You can switch the camera view between forwrd and side view. The focus is sharp from about 1/2 inch, but useable within that distance. I did try using the inspection camera without a fish tape, but for long or convoluted runs I thnk you are going to want to have a fish tape. Without a tape it was very frustrating trying to feed the caamera past the second turn in a long small diameter HVAC run. The kit comes in a fitted zippered hard case, but fair warning once you uncoil the camera cable it will require a bit of patience to restow it in the case. You may want to get a fish tape of some sort for some jobs it will help you feed the camera in long runs particularly if if there are elbows or joints/ridges that can impede forward progress. Would've been an easy 5 star, but the main camera stopped working and we opted to return instead of try to replace/repair. Awesome product prior to that though. Clear, color pic. Main camera and side camera. Can rotate picture on screen to orient to your liking and have split screen to show both cameras simultaneously. Much longer cable than many offer. It holds a charge well. Excellent price with daily deal offer. Aside from the camera malfunctioning which is the main purpose/function of course, the only complaint is that you can't really sit it down unless you have a sturdy place that you can mount it.

I was skepticalbut this is one of my favorite tools now. This tool saved me weeks of labor and thousands of dollars from having to open up a wall to find a leak. The 3 camara set up is amazing! I love this tool and if you are wondering if you need one with the 3 Caracas like this one, the answer is yes you do.

Works good, you got to have one! I even bought one for my friend. The camera is not really high definition and the focal length seems to be 2" away from the lens, but when you need to see what's going on, this is great.
