Magnet works well
Magnet works well, make sure you supply a true 12v power supply.Only negative was that it didn't really have a mounting bracket, but there's not one shown in the picture so that's my bad for not being more observant.

Purchased this to replace one that I thought was faulty, but discovered that it was the sensor instead. I kept it for a future repair if I need it.

This would probably be a great lock if there were INSTRUCTIONS that make sense to install it.

Doing a DIY project and I’m making a horse feeder I did have to buy 2 and the second one works as it should and it works perfectly. First one worked ish and would hold its self and nothing more! 2nd one you can’t separate the magnet from the plate! You do have to buy a power supply, but does everything is intended to! I will be buying more !

no mounting hardware, no instructions no customer support
after building a custom mount finally got installed only to find out it goes into fault mode when latched and the buzzer constantly rings while latched and you push the 'lock button on the remote to unlock and unlock to lock . The light on the unit never turns green as advertized so it is just a mess to deal with.i've changed polarity on the input power but no improvement. pretty disappointed.

Awesome magnet for the money!
Only needs 12v DC @ 100 milliamps as stated in Amazon store, included documentation states 250ma which is incorrect. Otherwise great little product!
