Fancy MeRumba Girl Costume

i ordered this costume before reading the reviews, i was dreading it coming because of the reviews once i had read them, ......it is brilliant it fitted my 6 year old granddaughter with a little room to spare, she loved it, it is not the very best material but what can you expect for the price paid...but for a 6 year old for a day as a Spanish Lady in school it did the trick.....very pleased with it, and value for money......

Ordered this dress for my daughter to wear for Spanish Day at school tomorrow and thought I'd write a review as I know how difficult it can be buying kids clothes online.Fit: My daughter recently turned 5 and is slightly above average in height for her age compared to some of her school friends, normal in all other measurements. I was worried the medium would be too big so went for a size small and it was the right choice (size small says 3-4 but in my opinion it would be too big for age 3). It's a couple of inches off the floor so not at a length where she could trip. Was slightly worried about her dignity with the split but the ruffles actually fall into each other in the middle so unless she were to do the cancan it seems like it won't be an issue (although will be putting her in black tights just in case). Fits around body fine. Only issue is that the ruffles at the bottom and the roses on the top of the dress are weighty compared to the black fabric, as such they pull the dress down showing a bit too much of her chest (hence reason for only 4 stars). I used 4 safety pins to pin the black fabric a little tighter behind the ruffle sleeves though and it looks fine now.Quality: For under £10 it's about right. Unlike some other reviewers I seem to have been lucky and all roses, ruffles and seams are stitched fine. One loose piece of cotton I had to snip off and that was it. It is the type of fabric that will pull if you catch it on something or got stuck to Velcro (but so are most dressing up outfits). Wouldn't last a lifetime but will be fine for a few wears.Look: Now it's pinned a little better it looks lovely on. Very Spanish looking, especially as the ruffles are red and yellow like the Spanish flag.My daughter loves it and has been Flamenco dancing since she got back from school. She can't wait to wear it tomorrow!

My great -granddaughter loves this dress .l ordered size 10 she’s 8yrs old. It’s a little too long but although she’s slim size 8 would be too small

As in pictures, the position of flowers look really weird and not like in seller’s picture. Sleeves keep falling off though the body fits well and neck line is so low. Hair flower accessory is also smaller than the picture. Had to send it back.

Perfect for school Spanish day. Little bigger than expected but good quality.

Bought this for my 4 yr old daughter for international languages day in school, she is tall for her age but still had to make some adjustment's to the length, overall happy with this dress for occasional wear, came with hair clip which was an added bonus.

Pour ce prix je ne m'attendais pas à une robe de si bonne qualité. Les coutures sont bien réalisées et le tissu agréable à porter.J'ai pris la taille normale pour ma fille. La robe taille parfaitement bien. Elle n'est pas trop petite comme je l'ai lu plusieurs fois. Pour information ma fille a une courbe de poids et de taille pile au centre sur le carnet de santé.

Bel costume di buona fattura, giusto di taglia, non abbondante, la parte del busto è abbastanza elasticizzata, la parte gonna è cucita e più sostenuta. Il materiale è ovviamente adatto ad una festa di carnevale a scuola o al chiuso. Indossato fa un bell'effetto. Nella confezione c'è il costume e una forcina per capelli con un fiore di tessuto. Mancano, ovviamente, le calze, le scarpe e quant'altro. Mia figlia mi ha fatto notare che mancano le nacchere!!! Da provvedere...:-) Comunque un buon acquisto nel rapporto prezzo/qualità, ottimo Amazon come sempre per spedizioni e imballaggi.
