Not a valid 'survival kit' but some good items
This is a rather odd collection of items. It doesn't properly qualify for the description of a 'survival kit' because it doesn't cover all the survival essentials and the individual items vary from 'OK but ...' to 'very good'.The box is low quality and mine was obviously repurposed because it had a partially removed label for a high power torch but it serves as a basic container and with the padding removed it would have space for a lot of additional items. The torch is 3 function - 2 levels of brightness plus flashing - and the lens extends to give you choice of quite a wide coverage to tightly focussed (with an odd pattern at its tightest). The whistle isn't of mountain and sea survival loudness but it is shrill and not bad at moderate distances. It has a key ring and the back half unscrews to reveal a small storage compartment. The survival blanket is of average, mainly single use, qualityThe wire saw works, especially when fitted on a bent branch to form a bow sawThere is an exceptional set of 25 fish hooks tied to line. Mine have a very fine barb and include 2 sizes, approximately #12 and #10, which is slightly large for survival usage but not too bad. You would have to add main line and some sinkers and I haven't tried them to establish how strong they are but on first examination they look OK.All functions of the card survival tool also work fine. The saw is short but works well for cutting grooves and notches or, as I did for sawing fine dust from some fatwood to use as tinder. The sharp edge also carved fine shavings from the fatwood. The tin open and bottle openers are effective. The ruler has markings that accurately cover 4cm by mm. The flat screwdirver corner is OK as are the nut wrenches and other slots. The cover is OK and the instruction card has a diagram with each function labelled but the explanations on the back are in Chinese. The compass, ah the compass :-) The case is of reasonable size at 6cm diameter but It has no connection for a lanyard. The scale is clearly marked in 360 degrees and also shows NE, SE, NW, and SW but N, S, E and W are in Chinese symbols. It is not liquid filled but the needle rotates easily and accurately. However, the oddest and for the inexperienced or confused most disorienting feature is that - completely the opposite of usual Western compasses - the end of the needle that is marked red points SOUTH instead of north! The firelighter blocks are an unusual but funtional feature and they light easily, even from a spark if the surface is scraped into a fluff, and burn well. The collapsible pocket bellow is exceptional! It seems well made and extends from a compact 16cm to a very useful 77cm that will keep your face well out of the heat and smoke as you use it to enhance or rekindle a fire. So, that's the features but what is missing? Well, there are good fire lighter blocks and an excellent bellows tube but absolutely nothing to light the fire. There are fish hooks to line but no main line or sinkers. There is a wire saw and emergency blanket but no cordage to help make a shelter. There is a compass but with some very odd features. But most importantly in terms of items in a survival kit, there is nothing at all for collecting, storing or processing one of the most essential and often quickly needed items, Water! As a collection of items to include as parts of a survival kit most of what is included is useful and I think they are worth the current price but nobody should buy one of these and think that they have a 'ready-to'go' survival kit, because there are too many essential items missing.

all are good quality and the case takes them all easily
Arrived quickly, comes in a tough plastic case and contains Emergency Blanket, Tactical Torch, Whistle, Compass, Pockets bellows, Wire Saw, Fishing Hooks and line, fire starter squares and a small metal card tool, all are good quality and the case takes them all easily, this is a must have for any outdoors person or if your stranded, in a pinch you could use these, it is however missing an essential item, there’s the fire starter squares and bellows but nothing to start the fire with like a fire starter or waterproof matches, I think that is more a must have then the bellows but apart from that you got a good bunch or stuff in a very durable case that will come in very handy, this is going in my Go Bag for the upcoming apocalypse.
