Does the job nicely!
I bought this keyboard to go with my laptop.Although I have had no need of the mouse yet, the keyboard is very effective and works nicely with my laptop. Excellent value for money and seems a good quality bit of kit for the price

Rave keyboard and mouse to go with rave LED lights :P
(Sorry for the long review, thought this would help for a quick overview. Chapters are in capitals)KEYBOARD: Nice keyboard especially for the price. The buttons are a little hard to get used to (there's so many that you might never have seen before, I certainly haven't) but that's what instructions are for. Lights are cool, the adjustment knob at the top of the board lets you change the brightness so thumbs up there. It fades through red, blue and purple. NOTE: If there are some grinding noises when you type, that's just the keys that have a little extra plastic on them touching the keys around it. I solved this by sticking a small nail file down the space between the keys and rubbing back and forth until the little bit of excess plastic fell off or sanded down.MOUSE: Quite loud (clicky) when you click but very comfortable and the noise isn't a problem especially if you have music playing. DPI button on the top is great, I have mine on the half way option. Both board and mouse are literally plug and play, no drivers required. Nice braided cord on both products that feels good quality.IF YOU WANT TO SAVE A FEW QUID: I made the mistake of buying the mouse and keyboard separately, but bought the Pro version so I now have two mice. Not a massive problem, I'm giving one to my brother anyway lol.But NOTE to people looking at this and thinking of buying: it's cheaper to get the Gryphon Pro version (keyboard and mouse) than to get the mouse and keyboard separately (not to mention postage and packaging but I think mine was free anyway).ONE DOWNSIDE: The mouse does not change colour or turn off. As soon as you plug into your PC the blue light stays on. Bit of a shame when the keyboard lights are cool and changeable, but that's just me being pedantic.SUMMARY: Overall though nice board and mouse for a first time buyer or budget builder, now I can rave while playing games in style :DPS: I have tested on windows 7 laptop, and both seemed to work perfectly. I tested on a macbook pro laptop, and mouse works fine, but the board doesn't seem to be recognised.

Great product.
The keyboard is chunky, feels very rugged and hard wearing under the fingers (I'd say perfect for heavy typers and people with fat thumbs/fingers). I'm still getting used to the transition from my old keyboard which was lighter and had lower keys, the keys on this keyboard feel higher to me (but then this is my first mechanical keyboard since moving over to a gaming pc). Typing is loud, so if you're looking for a quiet keyboard or even slightly quiet, this is not the product for you (it's the space bar that makes the most noise, the other keys are ok if you press lightly, but the space bar clunks no matter how lightly you press it.. TeamSpeak and Voice activated mic users will need to set press-to-talk , as I had to.The backlight function is what you'd expect, you press the light button and control the brightness with the dial at the top of the keyboard. You can cycle through the colours or choose to have "breath mode" on , which cycles through the colours for you (very calming and not as distracting as you'd think). At last, I can play Elite Dangerous with the lights off (goodbye social life!!!).The mouse is comfortable to use for long periods. The DPI is changed by clicking a small button on the top of the mouse, there are no visual confirmations other than a light on and a light off. Click once for speed 1, twice for 2 and 3 for well, you get it. My only gripe with this mouse is the scroll wheel click as your turn it, this gets picked up on my screencasts as background clicks and there's no way to disable it. Again, you'll need to keep this in mind if you use voice activated mic apps (there's nothing worse than hearing someones mic clicking away as they type or use a mouse in the background). The keyboard and mouse are a good combination for the price, great quality and rugged long lasting feel to both. The wrist support for the keyboard is only as good as the position of your keyboard on the desk (seating position and keyboard position are probably the most important factor to consider when trying to decrease wrist strain). The keyboard wrist support did have a dent in it with some scuffs and scratches, but I can live with that.

*Updated* Maybe I was just unlucky. However, read on ...
The first one sent was faulty so returned!! I have since received a replacement free of charge so I am updating this review. It's very good indeed for the price. I should make it clear I am not a gamer, or at least not the sort who would use all the features of this setup, BUT I do use CAD software and the dedicated CAD keyboards and mice available are horrendously expensive and not justifiable for my SOHO use. The programmable keys work very well for me. I use them in the same way a gamer would ... creating sets of keystrokes to perform repetitive actions. The lighting effects are pretty but I have disabled the 'breathing' effect as I found it too distracting (my son loves it though). If I am to be truthful, I prefer my Logitech M570 Trackball over the mouse. This in no way should suggest that the mouse is not up to scratch as it is weight adjustable, responsive and a good size for my hand, (medium / large) the buttons falling easily to finger tips. Again my son loves this mouse and I may hand it over to him. This package may not be top of the line but it is certainly worth buying if you looking for your first Gaming set and cannot afford (or wish) to pay for a Corsair or Razor package.Would I buy again?? Most definitely ... Customer service was excellent when it mattered ... Price is great ... What's not to like!!!
